Abstract
"MéTODO PARA PREPARAR COPOLìMEROS EM BLOCO SELETIVAMENTE HIDROGENADOS DE HIDROCARBONETOS AROMáTICOS DE VINILA E DIENOS CONJUGADOS, E, COPOLìMERO EM BLOCO DE UM HIDROCARBONETO AROMáTICO DE VINILA E UM DIENO CONJUGADO". é descrito um método para preparar copolímeros em bloco hidrogenados de hidrocarbonetos aromáticos de vinila e dienos conjugados compreendendo as etapas de: a) anionicamente polimerizar hidrocarbonetos aromáticos de vinila e dienos conjugados para produzir copolímeros em bloco com extremidades de cadeia vivas; b) terminar as extremidades de cadeia vivas, para produzir um copolímero em bloco terminado, com um membro do grupo consistindo de um álcool, hidrogênio, e suas misturas, para preparar um copolímero em bloco terminado; e c) contactar os copolímeros em bloco terminados com hidrogênio em uma temperatura de 20 a 175<198>C na presença de um catalisador preparado pela combinação de um carboxilato de cobalto com um composto de alquil-alumínio, no qual: (i) se o polímero for terminado com um álcool e o álcool for um álcool linear, o álcool linear será usado para terminar as extremidades de cadeia vivas em uma quantidade tal que a razão molar de álcool: extremidade de cadeia viva será de 0,05 a 1,2; (ii) se o polímero for terminado com um álcool e o álcool for um álcool ramificado, o álcool ramificado será utilizado para terminar as extremidades de cadeia vivas em uma quantidade tal que a razão molar de álcool: extremidade de cadeia viva será de 0,05 a cerca de 3,0; e (iii) se o polímero for terminado com um álcool e o álcool for uma mistura de um álcool linear e um álcool ramificado, o álcool linear será usado para terminar as extremidades de cadeia vivas em uma quantidade tal que a razão molar de álcool linear: extremidade de cadeia viva será de 0,05 a 1,2.
