Abstract

"GERADOR DE CICLO, ESPECIALMENTE PARA APARELHOS USB". Segundo as especificações USB é necessária uma precisão de 0,25% nas taxas de transmissão de dados. Para se gerar um sinal de ciclo, que possibilite essa precisão, de acordo com a invenção é empregada uma unidade de gerador de ciclo, que dispensa quartzo. A unidade de gerador de ciclo de acordo com a invenção apresenta um gerador de ciclo (11) interno, um contador de pulsos (17), que está ligado com o gerador de ciclo (11) interno, um armazenador de número de pulsos (18) e um filtro de pulsos (14). O contador de pulsos conta o número dos impulsos de ciclo internamente gerados entre dois pulsos do sinal de sincronização (16), que são transmitidos segundo a especificação USB. A diferença entre o número de pulsos determinado e um número de pulsos teórico é avaliada e empregada para o controle do filtro de pulsos (14) eliminando pulsos. Resulta assim um sinal de ciclo (13) estabilizado.
