Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA CONVERTER SYNGAS E PARA OTIMIZAR A CONVERSãO DE SYNGAS EM PRODUTOS DE PESO MOLECULAR MAIS ALTO, E PARA RAPIDAMENTE DETERMINAR UM CONJUNTO APROPRIADO DE CONDIçõES DE REAçãO E COMBINAçõES DE CATALISADOR PARA FORMAR UM PRODUTO DESEJADO". Métodos para conversão de syngas em produtos de peso molecular mais alto usando síntese de Fischer-Tropsch, e métodos para otimizar os sistemas de catalisador na síntese, são divulgados. Em uma modalidade, os métodos usam catalisadores de Fischer-Tropsch de cobalto/rutênio em combinação com um catalisador de isomerização de olefina, que isomeriza ligações duplas em olefinas de C~ 4~+ à medida que elas são formadas. Em outra modalidade, os métodos usam catalisadores de Fischer-Tropsch que podem ou não ser catalisadores de cobalto/rutênio, em combinação com catalisadores de isomerização de olefina que são ácidos o bastante para isomerizar as olefinas de C~ 4~+ mas não muito ácidos para causar coqueificação rápida. Um benefício de usar os zeólitos relativamente menos ácidos é que a razão de iso-parafinas para aromáticos é aumentada relativo quando mais zeólitos ácidos forem usados.
