Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES RìGIDAS E RESISTENTES AO IMPACTO CONTENDO POLI(PROPILENO) OU POLI(ETILENO/PROPILENO) E CARBONATO DE CáLCIO PARA FECHAMENTOS". Fechamentos rígidos e resistentes ao impacto (10) derivados de misturas rígidas e resistentes ao impacto incluindo poli(propileno) ou polietileno/propileno e carbonato de cálcio; composições rígidas e resistentes ao impacto incluindo poli(propileno) ou (polietileno/propileno) e carbonato de cálcio; métodos para aumentar a rigidez e resistência ao impacto de uma resina de poli(propileno) ou (polietileno/propileno) ou um fechamento (10); e um método para medir a resistência ao impacto de um fechamento (10) ou uma resina em uma temperatura reduzida são descritos. Uma mistura atualmente preferida contém de aproximadamente 40 a aproximadamente 60 por cento em peso de poli(propileno) ou (polietileno/propileno) e de aproximadamente 25 a aproximadamente 35 por cento em peso de partículas de carbonato de cálcio tratadas com ácido graxo, as partículas tratadas tendo um tamanho de partícula de aproximadamente 2,5 a aproximadamente 3,5 mícrons.
