Um processo é proporcionado para soldar um artigo de superliga à base de níquel ou cobalto para minimizar o fendimento, por aquecimento de toda a área da solda a uma faixa de temperaturas de ductilidade máxima, mantendo essa temperatura durante a soldagem e a solidificação da solda, aumento da temperatura para alivio de tensões da superliga, depois resfriamento a uma velocidade efetiva para minimizar a precipitação gama-primo.
