Abstract
"SISTEMA DE DESTILAçãO DE áGUA". Um sistema de destilação (10) é proporcionado para a recuperação de água a partir da água do mar e de outras fontes de água poluída. O sistema (10) possui um motor térmico (12) que materializa o ciclo de Carnot e um ciclo de Rankine formado por trocadores de calor (16 e 24), evaporador de descarga (26) e condensador (32). Os gases queimados proveniente do motor (12), tal como um motor a jato que não mais se ajusta para vóo, são direcionados para dentro de um duto (14) onde os trocadores (16) e (24) estão localizados. A água do mar é bombeada para dentro do trocador de calor (24) para pré-aquecimento por meio do calor residual no duto (14) e em seguida para dentro do trocador (16) para adicional aquecimento. Uma bomba de recirculação (20) eleva a pressão da água no trocador (16) para aumentar o ponto de ebulição para cerca de 165<198>C. A água aquecida é alimentada para dentro do evaporador (26) onde ela se carrega na forma de vapor e o condensado na forma de água por meio do condensador (32). O fluxo do jato de ar é usado para criar um efeito Venturi para manter pressão sub-atmosférica no evaporador (26). Qualquer sólido deixado no evaporador (26) é removido através de um mecanismo de transferência (50).
