Abstract

"SISTEMA DE LIBERAçãO DE DROGA POR BOMBEAMENTO OSMóTICO/DIFUSãO COMBINADOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de liberação (1) capaz de liberar uma ou mais substâncias ativas por meio de difusão através de uma pluralidade de microporos em uma membrana (4) ou por meio de bombeamento osmótico através de uma ou mais passagens (5) preparadas na membrana. O dispositivo (1) compreende um núcleo expansível localizado centralmente (2), completamente rodeado por uma substância ativa contendo uma camada (3) a qual é completamente rodeada por uma membrana (4). O dispositivo é capaz de liberar substâncias ativas insolúveis, levemente solúveis, pouco solúveis e muito solúveis, ao ambiente de uso. A taxa de liberação preferida é da ordem de zero. O dispositivo pode liberar uma substância ativa no período de cerca de 12 a 24 horas.
