Abstract

"DIFERENCIAL DE RODA". Um diferencial de roda tendo um conjunto de travamento de diferencial aperfeiçoado é apresentado. O diferencial inclui um alojamento de diferencial e uma gaiola de diferencial sustentada de modo rotativo no alojamento de diferencial por um conjunto de mancais. O diferencial também inclui um conjunto de embreagem tendo um primeiro elemento fixado à gaiola de diferencial e um segundo elemento configurado para receber um semi-eixo de árvore que se estende da gaiola de diferencial para rotação com o semi-eixo de árvore. Finalmente, o diferencial inclui um conjunto de travamento de diferencial aperfeiçoado que muda seletivamente o primeiro e o segundo elementos de embreagem para engate a fim de evitar rotação relativa entre a gaiola de diferencial e o semi-eixo de árvore. O conjunto de travamento inclui uma Câmara de mudança que é sustentada em um elemento de pista externo do conjunto de mancais. A câmara de mudança pode ser formada dentro de uma capa de mancal que é acoplada ao alojamento de diferencial e disposta em torno de pelo menos uma porção do conjunto de mancal. O conjunto de travamento inclui ainda um pistão disposto dentro da câmara de mudança e uma haste impulsionadora acoplada ao pistão. Um braço de mudança também é acoplado à haste impulsora e é configurado para engatar no segundo elemento do conjunto de embreagem. o pistão pode ser impulsionado em uma primeira direção e uma segunda direção, oposta à primeira direção, dentro da câmara de mudança pela aplicação de forças de desvio e/ou de fluido.
