"MéTODO PARA POSICIONAR UMA FERRAGEM DE CONEXãO EM RELAçãO A UM TUBO DE DISTRIBUIçãO E MECANISMO DE FERRAGEM DE CONEXãO/TUBO DE DISTRIBUIçãO PARA UM TROCADOR DE CALOR". São fornecidos uma montagem de ferragem de conexão/tubo de distribuição e um método para sua montagem para um trocador de calor. o método inclui as etapas de propiciar um tubo de distribuição (22) que inclui uma parede (30) que tem uma abertura (32) que a atravessa; propiciar uma ferragem de conexão (24) que inclui um corpo (42), um casquilho (44) que se estende a partir do corpo (42) e que tem uma superfície interior (50) e um orifício (54) que se estende através do corpo (42) para permitir acesso à superfície interior (50) ; inserir a conexão (44) na abertura (32) a partir de um lado da parede (30) de modo que o corpo (42) da ferragem de conexão (24) fique em um lado da parede (30) e uma porção (48) da conexão (44) fique no outro lado da parede (30); deformar a superfície interior (50) da conexão (44) com uma ferramenta de deformar (60, 104) inserida através do orifício (54) no corpo (42) para aumentar a porção (48) para um formato que restrinja a retração da conexão (44) a partir da abertura (32).
