Abstract

"MéTODO PARA FORMAçãO E MEDIçãO DE POLPA EM FLOCOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho para formação de fibras de fardos de polpa em fibras substancialmente secas e agregados de fibra, isto é, floco seco, e medição do floco seco resultante para um recipiente ou outro processo, tal como um processo de deposição a ar, para fabricação de artigos absorventes descartáveis. Uma versão do aparelho contendo características da presente invenção inclui: um componente de apoio (14) para apoiar o fardo de polpa, o componente de apoio de polpa definindo duas aberturas (20); dois conjuntos de formação de fibras rotativo (28) contendo elementos dilaceradores (22) projetando-se através das aberturas (20) por uma distância ajustável acima do componente de apoio (14), para fazer contato com uma camada superficial do fardo de polpa, a camada superficial contendo uma dimensão paralela ao eixo geométrico longitudinal do conjunto de formação de fibras, cada elemento dilacerador (22) estendendo-se de forma longitudinal e substancialmente contínua ao longo do conjunto de formação de fibras por uma distância de 100% ou mais da referida dimensão de camada superficial; um conjunto de transporte (16) para mover o fardo de polpa para trás e para frente ao longo do componente de apoio de fardo (14) e sobre as aberturas (20), de modo que os elementos dilaceradores (22) fazem contato com uma camada superficial no fardo para formar fibras individuais e agregados de fibra substancialmente secos, i.e., floco seco; um conjunto de movimento alternado ajustável (18) conectado a uma força motriz e suprindo força motriz para mover o conjunto de transporte (16), cujo conjunto de movimento alternado ajustável (18) permite ajuste da freq³ência pela qual o conjunto de transporte (16) se move para trás e quatro sobre a abertura (20); e um conjunto de condução para conduzir floco seco a um esperado ou outro recipiente, ou outro processo de deposição a ar. Um método tendo características da presente invenção envolve o uso do equipamento acima mencionado para conjuntos de formação de fibras da polpa no floco seco e medidor do referido floco para outro recipiente ou outro processo, tal como um processo de deposição a ar.
