Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE COMPOSTO DE PERÊXIDO DE T-ALQUIL". Um processo para produção de um composto de peróxido de t-alquil inclui as etapas de: a) reagir uma quantidade selecionada de um n-alquil t-alquil éter com uma mistura reagente compreendendo um catalisador ácido e um composto da fórmula RO~ 2~H; em que R é H ou t-alquil, contanto que se R for t-alquil o produto composto de peróxido de t-alquil é um peróxido de di-t-alquil, enquanto se remove n-alcanol; e b) isolar um produto de reação compreendendo o composto de peróxido de t-alquil da mistura resultante da etapa a). O processo pode ser usado para preparar hidroperóxido de t-butil ou peróxido de di-t-butil a partir de metil t-butil éter. ácido sulfúrico pode ser usado como o catalisador ácido.
