"MEIO PARA CONDUZIR E LOCALIZAR, SEM INFRA-ESTRUTURA DE LOCALIZAçãO NEM CONTROLE EXTERNO, UM VEìCULO AUTÈNOMO, BEM COMO MAPA NODAL". Meio para conduzir, sem infra-estrutura de localização nem controle externo, um veículo autónomo ao longo de um caminho que é confinado por paredes as quais ficam dentro do alcance de sensores de bordo, através da determinação da localização relativa e da orientação das paredes com relação ao veículo, o meio compreendendo meio para controlar o veículo, incluindo ajuste,de ângulo de manobra e velocidade de marcha em relação ao solo, sem localização, compreendendo aparelhagem e meios para: a) utilizar dados de alcance para estabelecer espaço livre em frente ao veículo; b) utilizar contornos ativos (ou snakes) para gerar um caminho desejado; c) utilizar sugestões de direção para guiar um (ou o) referido snake, por exemplo ao longo de arcos e áreas abertas; e/ou para d) utilizar sugestões de manobra para confinar o snake em um domínio específico de espaço livre, por exemplo em interseções, e e) utilizar o caminho desejado para gerar solicitação de manobra e velocidade.
