Abstract

"REFORçO DE TABLADO SIMéTRICO". Um reforço de tablado (10) para um veículo móvel com uma cabine de passageiro (101), como, por exemplo, um veículo utilitário esportivo, ou um caminhão médio ou de carga pesada. O reforço de tablado (10) pode ser um painel de chapa de metal estampado que reforça a estrutura de tablado da cabine e provê a montagem de componentes veiculares. O reforço de tablado (10) pode ficar simétrico sobre a linha de centro (108) do veículo e esta simetria permite ao painel acomodar ambas as configurações de veículo de transmissão de mão esquerda e de transmissão de mão direita. O reforço de tablado (10) inclui ainda passagens em forma de "Y" para um módulo de controle de motorista (20) e para um equipamento de acessórios, tais como módulos de aquecimento, ventilação, e ar condicionado (HVAC). O formato único destas passagens ou aberturas acrescenta resistência à estrutura de tablado geral e, desta forma, à cabine. O reforço de tablado (10) pode ser engatado em um painel de tablado (70) de modo a formar uma montagem de tablado (50). Os painéis de tablado podem ser fabricados pelas mesmas matrizes de estampagem em metal movimentadas para corresponderem à configuração de transmissão de mão direita versus à de cabine sobre motor convencional ou à configuração de motor frontal baixo.
