Abstract
Patente de Invenção para "SISTEMA E MéTODO PARAMEDIçãO DE DISPERSãO DE MODO DE POLARIZAçãOADEQUADOS PARA UM AMBIENTE DE PRODUçãO". Umsistema para medição de dispersão de modo de polarização (PMD)em uma fibra usando polarizador que controla o estado depolarização de entrada de luz para a fibra, e um analisador depolarização medindo o estado de polarização de saída de luz apartir da fibra. Análise de matriz de Jones é aplicada aos dadosderivados dos três estados de polarização de entrada e doiscomprimentos de onda de radiação de tenta. A performance éaperfeiçoada pelo uso de fontes de luz incoerente tais comodiodos de emissão de luz em conjunto com dois filtros de passagemde faixa. Contudo, uma fonte de laser e detector ótico são usadospara alinhar a fibra.
