Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA TRATAR UM MATERIAL QUERATINOSO, E, MATERIAL QUERATINOSO". A presente invenção proporciona um processo para tratar lã, fibras de lã ou pêlo animal com uma solução de álcool contendo álcali, seguido de uma enzima proteolítica em solução aquosa. O processo descrito resulta em resistência ao encolhimento aperfeiçoada, e pode resultar em aperfeiçoamentos no manuseio, aspecto, umidificabilidade, redução da tendência à feltragem, maior brancura, redução da formação de bolinhas, maciez aperfeiçoada, resistência ao estiramento aperfeiçoada, e características de tingidura aperfeiçoadas, como absorção de corante e solidez do corante às lavagens.
