Abstract
"APARELHO DE ADSORçãO, DISPOSITIVO DE RESTRIçãO DE LEITO PARA UM APARELHO DE ADSORçãO, E, PROCESSO PARA RESTRIçãO DE UM LEITO DE PARTìCULAS DE UM APARELHO DE ADSORçãO". Trata-se de um aparelho de adsorção de fluxo axial que inclui um leito de material adsorvente, uma barreira na forma de um material de células abertas em combinação com uma antepara ou tela de distribuição, esferas classificadas, e uma bexiga inflada. O leito de adsorvente compreende o adsorvente ativo requerido para um processo de separação. A barreira combina o material de células abertas, que proporciona uma retenção uniforme de todo o material adsorvente, com a tela de distribuição, que proporciona distribuição de pressão e fluxo uniforme através do leito. A barreira cobre substancialmente uma superfície de topo do leito de adsorvente para impedir uma fluidização do leito. Esferas classificadas sobre a barreira distribuem uniformemente uma pressão no sentido descendente fornecida pela bexiga inflável acima das esferas. A pressão uniforme é transmitida através das esferas para a barreira para supressão adicional de fluidização.
