Abstract

The device is used for the manufacture of phosphate-nitrogen fertilizers. By it a mixture and dissolution in a liquid (L) is achieved, made of a solution of sulphuric acid, and granules or solid particles of urea (G) the density of which is lower than that of the liquid. The device includes a tank (2) in which two agitator devices (A) are fitted. The first agitation device (A1) drives the solid granules (G) to the bottom of tank (2). The second agitation device is fitted in tank (2) under the first one (A1) and creates movement inside the mixture favouable for the dissolution of the granules, in particular a shearing motion. 10 claims, 5 figures
