Abstract

Ce procédé s'applique à la décontamination d'huiles minérales industrielles contenant des composés aromatiques polyhalogénés, notamment des biphényles polychlorés ou PCB. Il consiste à mettre l'huile en contact, sous atmosphère inerte, avec un mélange réactif consistant en un dérivé sodique de polyglycol, où une partie des groupes -OH terminaux sont neutralisés par du sodium, et en un sel faiblement basique.
