Abstract

Le procédé concerne essentiellement le traitement continu de la fonte dans le plan de coulée du haut fourneau afin d'obtenir simplement et de manière peu onéreuse de basses teneurs en phosphore et en soufre. Le métal ainsi traité convient pour l'utilisation ultérieure dans le convertisseur en vue de la fabrication d'aciers ayant une basse ou très basse teneur en impuretés.
