Abstract

Le procédé consiste à réaliser, par extrusion, une ébauche (88) comprenant un noyau central (93) en matière à haute conductibilité thermique, entouré d'une gaine en matière résistant à la corrosion et dont la pointe (92) d'allumage renferme un insert (82) en métal précieux ou semi-précieux. On utilise au départ une billette composite qui est façonnée en une coupelle dans laquelle sont introduites les matières devant constituer le noyau et l'insert, avant l'extrusion.Domaine d'application : bougies d'allumage pour véhicules.
