Abstract

Procédé de codage d'un flux de bits de données d'un signal binaire de données d'un signal binaire de canal. Le flux de bits de données du signal de source est subdivisé en une suite de cinq mots de source admissibles de longueurs variables. Chacun de ces cinq mots de source admissibles est converti en un mot de canal ayant un nombre de bits de données deux fois plus grand. Cette conversion a été choisie de façon qu'on obtienne une trés faible propagation d'erreurs et qu'il suffise en outre d'utiliser une électronique très simple.
