b) les doigts arracheurs présentent un vecteur qui est dirigé dans le sens du roulement quand ils se trouvent au bas du cylindre arracheur; c) dans le sens du roulement de la machine, celle-ci comporte, à l'avant du cylindre arracheur, un tablier d'arrachage, à courte distance de la face interne duquel passent les doigts arracheurs élastiques du cylindre; d) le bord horizontal inférieur du tablier d'arrachage forme avec le sol un intervalle d'entrée réglable en hauteur pour les tiges des pois et le tablier d'arrachage couvre le' cylindre arracheur au moins jusqu'au point le plus élevé de sa rotation;
e) derrière le cylindre arracheur et sur toute la largeur de celui-ci, il est prévu une courroie collectrice qui est destinée à transporter à l'arrière de la machine les cosses de pois arrachées, et la courroie collectrice est suivis de deux transporteurs transversaux qui rapprochent les cosses de pois du milieu de la machine, ainsi que d'un transporteur élévateur dont l'extrémité de sortie débouche dans un tambour de criblage tournant; f) le tambour de criblage, prévu dans le sens longitudinal de la machine, porte à la face interne des longerons élévateurs servant de longerons de battage;
même sens que le tacbour et qui forment chacun une zone de battage avec les longerons du tambour les plus proches;
<EMI ID=3.1>

<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>

Pea harvesting machine.
The object of the present invention is a pea harvesting machine.
The invention aims to provide a machine for harvesting
peas by means of which the harvest can be carried out
damaging the product as little as possible and supporting
losses less than hitherto; this ma-
china can also shell harvested peas very efficiently
hanging from the herbs.
The machine recommended for the aforementioned purpose brings together the fields <EMI ID = 1.1> transversely to the rows of peas to be harvested:
b) the stripper fingers have a vector which is directed in the direction of rolling when they are at the bottom of the stripper cylinder; c) in the direction of travel of the machine, the latter comprises, at the front of the stripping cylinder, a stripping apron, a short distance from the internal face of which pass the elastic stripping fingers of the cylinder; d) the lower horizontal edge of the lifting apron forms with the ground a height adjustable entry gap for the pea stems and the lifting apron covers the lifting cylinder at least up to the highest point of its rotation;
e) behind the stripping cylinder and over the entire width thereof, there is provided a collecting belt which is intended to transport the torn pea pods to the rear of the machine, and the collecting belt is followed by two transverse conveyors which bring the pea pods closer to the middle of the machine, as well as to an elevating conveyor whose exit end opens into a rotating screening drum; f) the screening drum, provided in the longitudinal direction of the machine, carries on the internal face of the lifting beams serving as threshing beams;
g) in the screening drum, in a horizontal plane passing approximately through its median axis, there are at least two threshing shafts which, with parallel axes, rotate in the
same direction as the tacbour and which each form a threshing zone with the closest drum spars;
h) between the two threshing shafts and above them, there is at least a third shaft, rotating in the opposite direction, which, together with the two threshing shafts, forms two other zones of <EMI ID = 2.1>
Using the machine forming the subject of the invention, it is possible to harvest several rows of plants simultaneously.
<EMI ID = 3.1>
in the entry gap between the lifting cylinder and the ground to pass inside the lifting apron, place
<EMI ID = 4.1>
torn offs are thrown from the top onto the collecting belt and arrive on it in the area of the transverse conveyors, which bring them closer to the middle of the machine,
from where they are discharged onto the downstream elevator conveyor, through which they are deposited into the screening drum. Driven by the elevator spars of the screening drum, the thimbles pass into the first threshing zone, formed between a threshing shaft and the wall of the screening drum, then pass from there into the second threshing zone, formed between the same threshing shaft. and the shaft rotating in the opposite direction, to then arrive in the third threshing zone, formed between the second threshing shaft and the shaft rotating in the opposite direction and, finally, in the fourth threshing zone, formed between the second shaft drummer and drum wall. To increase the threshing effect,
<EMI ID = 5.1>
maintain this longer in the second and third threshing zones.
Harvesting takes place with particular care and, however, a great degree of efficiency, if the digging fingers are in the form of forks with two teeth, these teeth, made of metal wire, which spring against the action of the vector, directed in the direction of the rolling, stripper fingers located at the lower part of the roller, being fixed to the stripper cylinder in rows parallel to the axis thereof. The two teeth of each pulling finger are advantageously spaced apart by a
<EMI ID = 6.1>
the other at the periphery of the stripping cylinder.
The threshing effect is particularly intensified if
the radial height of the threshing members of the threshing shafts increases from the inlet to the outlet of the drum. Therefore, view
in cross-section of the drum, the width of the threshing zone between the threshing members and the drum or, rather, its lifting beams, decreases steadily from the entrance to
the exit.
It is also advantageous to provide, over the length of the threshing shaft, several threshing members per row, advantageously four or five members, which are offset with respect to one another at the periphery of the shaft. To transport the product axially in the drum, the threshing members are somewhat inclined relative to the axis of the threshing shaft.
The threshing effect will be further increased in the second and in the third threshing zone if the lower point of the rotation circle of the counter-rotating shaft is below the upper point of the rotation circles of the two threshing shafts . The shaft rotating in the opposite direction can also be provided with lifting beams parallel to its axis, which serve as a sort of counter-support relative to the beaters.

tee connected to each other in the axial direction by lifting beams and be covered at the periphery by networks of? screening. Compared to the known type of construction, according to which different screening frames form the casing of the drum, the new embodiment represents a substantially larger screening face, since the frames do not exist. Another advantage of this construction results from the fact that the screening networks surrounding the entire periphery of the drum are no longer stretched but apply relatively loosely to the end rings and to the side members. When the work is carried out on damp soil, in particular, these screening networks can

automatic cleaning. The screening networks which follow one another axially may further have screening openings of. different dimensions.
The transverse conveyors which bring the pea pods closer to the axis of the machine are advantageously formed of bands carrying spikes, or the equivalent, which rotate above the collecting belt, the axes of the return rollers of? conveyors being perpendicular to the transport plane of
