<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

Nestable elements and boxes obtained he has it of these elements.
This invention relates to the industrial manufacture of all types of box elements, relatively very high, with a large moment of inertia, of good resistance and ensuring good thermal and sound insulation. In one embodiment, said box-like elements can also be systematically packaged so as to present, between the two large faces, no thermal bridge.
For this purpose, a first object of]! invention consists in producing uniform interlocking elemerts for a given manufacture and packaged so as to be able to be paired two to

Another object of the invention is to achieve said interlocking elements approxi1 = ativernent or strictly under the same conditions of shape and dimensions, which is particularly favorable to economical industrial manufacture, having regard to the reduction, to the strict minimum, of the tooling and the interchangeable nature of all the parts for a given manufacture, Another object of the invention consists in producing such boxes by said interlocking elements with interposition, respectively enclave :, a mass of a material insulator, generally a cxpanuea resin or a natural or artificial resin with a pot texture: usc with open or closed cells.

can be made of any suitable material and the two interlocking elements of the same partition can, moreover, be made of equal or different materials.
Finally, in a preferred form of execution, one or both interlocking elements intended for the formation of a same double-thickness box will be produced, respectively a thickness of metal and a thickness of an added material, generally. is a thin, insulating cover material.
This particular arrangement resulted in that, by the very fact of the mutual friction of two such elements, an insulating joint is produced between the adjacent parts such that the two large faces of the box element are sound and / or thermally insulated. In this regard, we can therefore either start from a metal-plastic compound that we can transform into a nestable element, as is; or else the insulating layer could be added later, ie, after formation of the interlocking element.
These provisions can be applied without prejudice to any other subsequent treatment of one and / or the other large face of the box, respectively of any face of interlocking elements and of the boxes,
Finally, another object of the invention relates to the production of all kinds of objects, construction parts or constructions, by the arrangement, in the same plane or in different planes, of such interlocking elements, respectively such elements. @ boxes, with the interposition of a seal, prefer this conditioned in a particular way.
In this regard, another object of the invention is yet to profile the lateral faces of the bearing elements with the double aim of promoting the placement, respectively the protection, of said seal and of increasing the elasticity of said side faces in order to ensure their twinning by elastic deformation to a degree of
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
fatigue significantly less than the elastic limit of the metal.
Without limitation, executions are, by way of example, described in more detail below with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 shows, in cross section, interlocking elements conforming to the invention; ; FIG. 2 represents a box element formed by the twinning of two such interlocking elements; Figure 3 shows schematically, in cross section, the coupling of deu.t box elements; FIG. 4 is a view on an enlarged scale of the part indicated at F4 in FIG. 3; Figure 5 is a variant of Figure 4.
As shown in Figure 1, a box element 1-1A 'is characterized by a face 2 and by the side faces 3. These side faces are profiled so as to have at least one. interlocking molding 4 and a molding 5 in line with the junction between said gande face 2 and a lateral face 3. Said molding 4 is intended for fixing, by clipping, two such interlocking elements, while the junction molding. 1 promotes both the elastic deformation of said side faces 3 during the interlocking operation and better superposition of the adjacent parts of the two twin interlocking elements.
As shown schematically in Figures 1 and 2, the two interlocking elements 1-1A intended for the production of the same box can be perfectly identical, their conformation, as described above, ensuring optimum mutual interlocking and fixing.
In the example shown schematically in Figures 1 and 2, we have, before interlocking, interposed between the two interlocking elements 1-1A, a mass 6 of a Flying material which, after formation of the blazon 7, will practically fill it. of a full year.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
By the very conformation of the side walls of said box 7, it forms, by the juxtaposition of these, (Figure 3) an ideal location for the enclaving of a seal 8, Si, as shown schematically by way of 'example in Figure 4, for example, for at least one of the interlocking elements 1 or 1A, used a metal-plastic compound, it will be obtained that the layer or the plastic film 9 will form joint insulation between the overlapping parts of the adjacent moldings 4,
In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4, two identical interlocking elements 1-1A have been used for the execution of a box 7.
In the variant of Figure 5, a box has been produced using two very similar interlocking elements,
The invention extends to all types of interlocking elements comprising one or more of the essential characteristics disclosed herein, as well as to boxes produced by the pairing of two such interlocking elements.
The invention also extends to all objects, constructions or parts of constructions applying such box elements.
