F. 63 - 67 0..Rendement : 32,5 g.

Beta-ketonitriles which are suitable for the process according to the invention are for example the following: alpha-acetylpropionitrile, alpha-acetylbenzY1cyanide, alpha-propionylpropionitrile, 2-oyanocyclopentanone- (1), 2-ayanocyalohexanone- (1), 3-yano-4-ketothiophane and 3-cyano-N-methyl-pyrrolidonea Among the unsubstituted hydrazines suitable for use in the process according to the invention, there may be mentioned as examples phenylhydrazine, p-methoxyphenylhydrazine, 2-hydrazinobenzothiazol, b @ ta-cyanoethylhydrazine and btta-hydroxyethylhydxazine.
The new process can be carried out in a simple manner by contacting the reaction components in aqueous acidic solutions. The reaction is preferably carried out at moderately high temperatures, for example at a temperature between 30 and 100 0.
In this process, aqueous solutions of the hydrochlorides of the aminopyrazols are formed, the free bases of which can in general be precipitated by the addition of aqueous solutions of strong alkalis *
The 5-aminopyrazols obtained by the new process can be used as intermediates for the production of pharmaceuticals and dyestuffs.
