La présente invention est relative aux gaines de corps comprenant une partie abdominale et une partie stoma- cale, dont la partie abdominale présente une bande de ren- forcement élastique .
On connaît des gaines élastiques dont la partie antérieure est renforcée par une série de baleines verti- cales, horizontales ou obliques montées sur élastique, tissu, satin, nylon, etc....Le renforcement de la partie abdominale parles baleines a pour inconvénients de rendre la gaine moins souple et plus lourde puisqu'elle est incorporée de métal ou d'autre élément rigide.
