PASSE-POTAGE RAPIDE MENAGER.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

QUICK HOUSEHOLD POTAGE.
The housewife who makes a soup is often faced with a rather complicated job because she must, once the vegetables are cooked, pass it to make it smooth.
This operation presents complications when you do not have the most sophisticated device to date, called "Passevite".
This still requires transfers and causes a loss of what has been put there, certain parts of the vegetables being too stringy and remain in the apparatus.
Being a specialist in the construction of kitchen appliances, having already designed a rapid soup pot for large quantities, I thought of providing the housewife with a means of overcoming all the drawbacks of the means currently employed.
My device offers maximum comfort and ease for making a soup.
Indeed, the vegetables being cooked, we remove the bones that we had placed there then taking by the handle my household soup strainer we plunge it into the soup and switch on the ignition., It takes a few seconds for it to pass. this is finely pulverized and the vegetables reduced to a smooth puree without any loss; the taste of the soup is spicy and delicious and will be appreciated by gourmets, given its velvety texture acquired by a total reduction in the vegetables and land pumps that constitute it.
The device having these qualities is constituted by a frame made of cast iron, having the shape of a frustoconical bowl (I) whose bottom is pierced with an opening (2) in which is placed a phosphor bronze bearing (3) serving to maintain in place in the center a shaft (4), the upper part of which forms the axis of the rotor of a motor (5) placed on a platform (6) closing off the frustoconical cup by resting on its upper edge (7 ) and whose center ($) allows the shaft (4) to pass.
The lower part of the truncated conical cup (I) is provided

a rim (9) curved downwards in the form of a gutter, the role of which will be explained below. The walls of the bowl end downwards with a vertical cylindrical wall (10) pierced with holes (II) forming a chamber (12) in which, attached to the end of the rotor shaft (4), turns a bladed propeller. sharp.
When the engine is started, the propeller sucks into the chamber (12) vegetables and potatoes which, subjected to the sharp blades, are shredded very quickly; the mixture thus sucked out through the holes (II) and abuts against the curved part (9) of the frame to be returned to the mass of the liquid.
In no time at all, all the liquid in the container went through several suction and discharge circuits, which pulverizes the soup and makes it perfectly homogeneous. a metal cap (IL.) covers the motor (5) and prevents any projection of liquid into it. This cap is provided with a handle intended to keep the device immersed in the liquid; this handle contains an electrical contact button (16) controlling the starting of the device.
CLAIMS
I I claim as being my invention, a household soup strainer allowing a housewife to pass a soup quickly with the greatest ease.
2 I claim as being my invention the construction of a frame made of cast iron, serving as a support for a motor whose rotor axis is con- tinued by a shaft fitted with a propeller with sharp blades placed in a chamber with vertical walls, which allows, thanks to the rotation of the propeller, to suck the liquid in which the apparatus is immersed and to make it make a circuit subjected to the action of the sharp blades of the propeller, this which has the effect of spraying all the material that is in the liquid. -
3 I claim as being my invention the construction of an apparatus, an application of which is shown in the appended drawing which is not limiting, other arrangements, according to this principle, can be designed and produced.
