TABLE A DESSINER
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

DRAWING TABLE
The present invention relates to drawing tables, in which the drawing board rests on the frame by means of deformable parallelograms.
The subject of the present invention is a drawing table of this type, comprising one or more of the following arrangements:
1) the side walls of the frame rest on legs, capable of pivoting, on the side walls around an axis and the locking lever of the deformable parallelogram is connected to a transmission rod, at a point which,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
in the lever locked position, it is located on the pivot axis of the legs.
2) blocking of the parallelogram is obtained by clamping a pack of plates integral with the frame and a pack of plates integral with the deformable parallelogram, the plates of one pack alternating with those of the other pack.
In particular, these plates have the form of annular discs in which pass an axis connecting the feet and forming one of the vertices of the deformable parallelograms, said discs having ears pierced with a hole, an axis integral with the frame passing through the holes of the plates. of one of the packages, while an axis integral with one of the arms of the parallelogram passes through the holes in the plates of the other package. By way of example, there is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing:
Figure 1, a side view of a drawing table according to the present invention
Figure 2, a front view of this table.
Figure 3, a section along the line III-III of Figure 2.
The drawing table, of which only the parts interested in the invention are shown in the drawing, has a planohe 1, mounted by two parallelograms 2, on a transverse axis 3, supported by the legs 4 of the frame. A counterweight 3 mounted on an extension of one of the arms of parallelogram 2 balances the weight of board 1. It is thus possible, by maneuvering the board 1 to bring it into the desired position.
In accordance with the present invention, the piers 4 rest on the ground by legs 6 which can pivot around axes 7 and which can be immobilized in
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
perpendicular positions by means of four threaded bolts at éorous, introduced into the four holes 8 placed at the vertices of a square having its center on the axis? . the pins 6 can thus be given two positions: the use position shown in FIG. 1 and the folded position by rotating it by 90 around the axis 7.
In order to immobilize the board 1 in the desired position, there is provided, in accordance with the present invention, between each parallelogram 8 and the corresponding base 4 two packs of plates 9 and 10. These plates have the form of annular discs in the holes 11 of which the transverse axis 3 passes. These plates also have ears pierced with holes 13 and 14. In the holes 13 of the plates 9 of one of the packages passes an axis 15 carried by the base 4, while in the holes 14 of the plates 10 of the other package passes an axis 16 carried by the parallelogram 2, the plates of package 9 alternating with those of package 10
The axis 3 can move axially.
It is abutted on one side on one of the piers 4 by an adjusting screw 17 and on the other side it carries two levers 18 and 19, one of which 18 is pivoted on the other end of the axis 3, while the other 19 is pivotally mounted on the corresponding pedestal 4. The other ends of the two levers 18 and 19 are attached to the end of a connecting rod 20. The other end of this connecting rod 20 is attached by a pin 21 to a control lever 22, pivotally mounted at 23 on the pedestal 6. By moving this lever 22, the levers 18 and 19 are brought into an extension of one another, which causes the plates 9 and 10 to be clamped.
As a result of their large number, it is possible to obtain a high friction force and, consequently, an energetic blocking of the plane 1 even if the tightening is not very energetic. On the other hand, in this unblocking position,
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
the lever 22 has been arranged so that the axis 21 is in the extension of the axes 7.
Under these conditions, to fold the table, the board is brought into its position which brings it closest to the side walls 4 and it is blocked by means of the lever 22 in this position. Remove the bolts from holes 8. The legs 6 are rotated by 90 around the axes 7, which is possible thanks to the fact that the axis 21 is in the extension of the axes 7, and the bolts are replaced in the holes 8. The folded table presents the minimum amount of space.
