On connaît un tel système de construction de murs ou parois préfabriqués du genre précité, suivant lesquels le mur ou la paroi comprend un certain nombre de panneaux préfabriqués disposés cote-à-côte dans le mur, dans une partie d'épais- seur d'un mur ou dans une 'paroi et qui sont commodément assem- blés le long des bords supérieurs et inférieurs des panneaux au moyen de deux mortaises s'étendant le long de ces bords, une des mortaises étant dirigée vers le haut pour recevoir:, le bord inférieur des panneaux et l'autre étant dirigée vers le bas pour en recevoir le bord'supérieur;

Prefabricated Wall and Wall Constructions The present invention relates to "prefabricated wall and wall construction systems", which designates building sets which consist of prefabricated units which simply need to be erected at the location chosen for the building. , to form the wall or the wall. Such assemblies are intended not only for single wall exterior walls, but also for the various thicknesses of multiple wall walls, for example. in the case of a two-ply wall comprising two cladding or facings, an exterior cladding and an interior cladding, separated by an intermediate air volume.
Such a system of construction of prefabricated walls or walls of the aforementioned type is known, according to which the wall or the wall comprises a number of prefabricated panels arranged side by side in the wall, in a thick part of the wall. a wall or in a wall and which are conveniently assembled along the upper and lower edges of the panels by means of two mortises extending along these edges, one of the mortises facing upwards to receive :, the lower edge of the panels and the other being directed downwards to receive the upper edge;
in addition, the distance between the bottom of the lower mortise and the top of the upper mortise. being greater than the vertical height of the panels by at least the depth of the lower mortise, while the distance between the bottom of the Lower mortise and the bottom of the upper mortise is less than the said vertical height, the arrangement is such that the, 6 panels can be brought into place on the mortises (assuming that the mortises are in position to receive them), thanks to a two-step operation of the panel in all cases, consisting first of insert the upper edge of the panel into the upper mortise,
the-.General plane of the panel in this operation being first slightly inclined with respect to the general plane of the wall and gradually coming into this plane as the operation continues; when the first operation is finished, the panel is then lowered to make it enter the lower mortise.

EMI2.8
The panels of the improved mode of construction may be of any convenient or desired type and may be made of any suitable material or materials, but it is understood

A nest formed by two bands 13, 14 and a third additional band 15 arranged in a horizontal plane and extending through the space between the two bands mentioned first is placed against the inner face of the uprights at their lower part and fixed ,, on the floor, so as to constitute with the upper marginal part of the strip 14 and the parts facing the faces of the uprights 4 the lower mortise of the covering, that is to say the mortai - is in which the lower edges of the panels are received.
Under the horizontal strip 15 there is a compartment 16 formed by the interior of the socket which allows to house, by properly hiding them, the electric cables or other useful elements 17. In order to be able to inspect or change the electric cables or the like of the lower compartment, the strip 14 may be detachable and in order to ensure the necessary stability of the interlocking and to enable it to support the weight of the panels when these are in position, the support members in the form of an inverted U, shown aligned at 18, may be placed and secured in position in the socket at suitable points along it.
Outlet bayonets for electric cables or the like 17 can be conveniently mounted on the strip 14, which, as can be seen, forms an interior paneling for the wall.
The upper mortise receiving the upper edges of the panels is formed by a stamped metal sheet 19 the section of which is that of an inverted U having a wing 20 directed outwards and extending from the free end of the leg of the U. which is placed in the finished wall, towards the interior of the building. This stamped part may be secured in place in any suitable manner and to any suitable part of the construction. For example, it can be attached to beams, joists or the like by means of bolts passing through and also through the bottom of the U of the stamped part.
The purpose of the wing 20 directed outwardly said part is to provide a surface which receives, like a support, the panels, slabs, sheets or the like 21 forming the ceiling or ceilings of the room or rooms which is or are limited. by the wall, the arrangement being such that said panels, tiles, sheets or the like can be dropped so as to fall into position against said wing, or against the wings, or they are introduced in place of any other way, either then to remain in this position, not fixed on the wing and simply resting on the latter, or to be fixed there, as required.
The advantage of this arrangement is that an extremely quick and easy construction method is thus obtained for forming the ceiling, and a further advantage is that if the panels, slabs, sheets or the like making up the ceiling contract with the ceiling. weather, for example due to atmospheric conditions, this contraction will not produce a gaping gap, at the edge of the ceiling that can be seen from inside the room because this gap will always be covered or masked by the wing or the stamped part.
As we can see, there is: a free space in the upper mortise, above the upper bora of the panels which engage with it. The dimensions of the parts are designed for this purpose in such a way that the panels can fit into the mortise after a two-step operation as has been explained.
