Tensioning slide for automatic weapons "
To power up the breech of automatic weapons, we usually use a slide.
Ui is mounted so that it slides into one. longitudinal guidance
of the cylinder head box. By pulling the handle, the bolt is drawn back from the anterior position into the trigger action position. It is then necessary to overcome the force of the closing spring which pushes the movable breech forward for firing. In the case of automatic weapons in which it still occurs, when unlocking the bolt from the barrel, sup-

shooter must use at the start of the betting operation
under tension a force much higher than for the rest
of the actuation of the tensioning slide.
Oven maintain the slide in its rest position, that is to say its previous position, during firing, against the action of the recoil movements, use is made of a locking pawl which immobilizes the slide against a recess or a projection of the cylinder head box.
The object of the present invention is to facilitate in a simple manner for the shooter the start of the bet.
under pressure. This is achieved by the fact that the handle of the tensioning slider is established in the form of an angled lever separate from the slider itself.
and can pivot on it. During the pivoting movement of the long arm of the angled lever, at the end of which the shooter acts, the slide is moved backwards on the initial part of its movement by the fact that the shorter end of the angled lever rests against the cylinder head box. By appropriately dimensioning the arms of the lever, it is thus possible to reduce the initial force for tensioning at will.
The attached figures serve for explanation.
Fig. 1 shows a view of the cylinder head box
from below
The breech box 1 has a guide track 2 for the slide 3, the hook-shaped end 4 of which is hooked to the movable breech when the power is turned on. At the center of rotation 5, the angled lever 6 is mounted on the slider 3 and the end 7 of the long arm of the lever forms a handle while the end 8 of the short arm of the lever rests against a protrusion 9 of suitable shape of the cylinder head box. By pivoting the handle 7 into position 10, the center of rotation 5 is brought into position 11 in which the long lever arm bears against the stop 12 of the slide 3.
As a continuation of pivoting is not then
/ 1 possible, the slide is moved further without multiplication.
Fig. 2 also shows a view of the cylinder head box from below. The angled lever is here however separated from the handle, on the one hand to move the point of action of the force for the tensioning by moving a certain amount away from the breech box towards the outside. -

laughing, and on the other hand to trigger the locking pawl of the slide for actuating the handle, before the movement of the slide is produced.
The elbow lever 13 can again pivot around the center 14 on the slide 15. The end 16 of the short lever arm is pressed against the stop 17 of the breech box. The end 18 of the long lever arm departs obliquely from the breech box. The handle 19 is the end of a single-branch lever 20 which is also mounted at the center of rotation 14. It carries, opposite the end 18 of the long arm of the angled lever, the stop 21. If, at From its rest position, it is brought into the position shown in dotted lines, the stop 21 comes into contact with the angled lever so that when the handle continues to pivot, the angled lever pivots at the same time. The locking pawl 23 is mounted to pivot about the center of rotation 22.
The hook-shaped end 24 hooks behind the projection 25 of the breech box in the rest position of the slider. When the lever is pivoted, the locking pawl is pivoted under the action of the ridge 26 of the single leg lever 20, against the action of the force of the spring 27, as shown in FIG. 3.
Fig. 4 shows the farthest position, by pivoting, of the lever according to FIG. 2. 'Under the action of the drive member 21, the angled lever 13. has been brought
