La présente invention a pour objet une bande'pour varices perfectionnée, qui se caractérise par le fait que 'extrémité du ruban élastique formant la bande et qui s'adapte au pied est façonnée en bouole fermée de dimensions appropriées pour chaus- ser convenablement la partie antérieure du pied, de façon que la bande étant ainsi placée sur le pied elle peut être enroulée autour du pied et de la jambe à l'instar d'une bande de pànse- ment ordinaire.
Jusqu'à présent les bandes pour varices étaient simple- ment constituées d'une grande longueur de ruban élastique et le placement de cette bande demandait une attention particuliè- re et donnait lieu malgré tout à des dérangements ,fréquents lors du moindre défaut dans le placement au départ de la bande, La boucle sera, de préférence, façonnée en la matière même de la bande et elle présentera un coté évasé pour constituer un loge,-

ment conique dans lequelle pied peut prendre un bon appui.
Une forme de réalisation pratique de l'invention est il- lustrée à titre d'exemple dans le dessin annexé.
La figure 1 montre la bande pour varices selon l'inven- tion.
Les figures 2 et 3 montrent le mode de placement de la bande sur la jambe droite.
L'extrémité de la bande élastique 1 forme une boucle 2 par un retour de la matière, dont le bord 3 est fixé oblique- ment sur le plan du ruban 1. Il en résulte que le creux 4, con- stitué par la boucle, présente une conicité déformable qui s'a- dapte directement à la partie antérieure du pied, de sorte que la bande reçoit un siège ferme pour le départ, ce qui permet de poursuivre le placement de la bande par simple enroulement au- tour du pied et de la jambe. La forme de la bouole (2) sera a- vantageusement étudiée pour pouvoir servir indifféremment pour le pied gauche ou pour le pied droit, l'enroulement de la bande sur la jambe pouvant toujours se faire soit vers l'intérieur ou vers l'extérieur.
Le joint du bord terminal de la bande sur le plan de celle-oi sera réalisé de toute façon convenable, soit par exemple par couture, et ce joint pourra être légèrement renforcé. L'autre extrémité de la bande 1 sera garnie d'un moyen de fixation quelconque, soit agrafes, liens, etc...
L'invention ne reste pas limitée à la forme de réalisation décrite, car les variations sont possibles sans se départir de l'étendue des revendications. Ainsi par exemple la boucle pour- rait être fabriquée d'une pièce rapportée fabriquée d'une autre étoffe ou bien la bande pourrait être finie entièrement de fa- brication sans couture, etc...
