<EMI ID=2.1> <EMI ID=3.1>

The first operation to draw a landscape or other, subject after, Nature-following the rules of
<EMI ID = 2.1> <EMI ID = 3.1>
It is based on Leonardo da Vinci's well-known glass principle, according to which anyone looking at any landscape or interior view can follow the drawing on that window with a brush or grease pencil, provided, well heard, to keep his eye still.
This apparatus, allowing the implementation of this principle, is characterized in that it comprises a viewfinder, a window and an easel serving to carry the drawing paper, suitably arranged on a suitable support so as to allow, in. placing the eye behind the fixed viewfinder, to draw with a grease pencil on the glass the landscape or other view visible through the glass, then by placing behind the said glass and at a distance from it adjustable at will according to the desired magnification ,
the easel carrying a sheet of paper or other, to transfer on the latter the drawing previously traced on the glass.
Said apparatus also makes it possible, by fixing a transparent photographic or non-photographic plate against the clear glass, to achieve the visual enlargement thereof, to a predetermined and adjustable scale, on the sheet of drawing paper or the like.
The invention can, in any case, be well understood with the aid of the description which follows and the appended drawing, which description and drawing are, of course, given above all by way of indication.

For this purpose, the latter is provided at each of its ends with a notch II of suitable shape intended to receive the threaded rod exiting from the groove 8 during the pivoting of the mobile boards 5 and 6 :,

To draw a landscape using the device, the device is mounted in the position shown in fig.l, then the landscape is traced on the small glass with a grease pencil.
This done, the movable boards are placed in the position shown in fig. 2, the easel which carries the sheet of drawing paper being fixed in one of the fixing strips more or less distant from the glass according to the desired degree of enlargement. . When the window holder is taken out of the housing, the spring 42 by coming to the full stroke of the window holder, butting against the pin 43, automatically produces the straightening of the window holder. On the other hand, when the latter is to be retracted into the housing, stopping the spring 42 by the pin 43 engages the base of the window holder in the ramp 38.

of the fork are parallel to their upper part
and serve as a support for an eyepiece 47 which can slide on them.
