" DISPOSITIF DE COMMANDE ELECTRIQUE A DISTANCE POUR
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Sur ce dessin ;
L'ouver-
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

"REMOTE ELECTRICAL CONTROL DEVICE FOR
EMI1.1
CC ADJUSTMENT SWITCH A TD) E "
There are known remote control devices with an electric servomotor for vacuum adjustment switches or the like, controlled by a manipulator and controlled by a servo drum. These control devices allow passage from one position to the next or the previous one, but do not allow the return to the starting position without passing through the intermediate positions already covered.
In some cases, in order to speed up the return to the starting position and reduce wear on the mechanism, it is interesting to return to this position, not by going back through the positions already covered, but by continuing to turn the lever. lator in the same direction, for example in the case where the route is shorter.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The present invention allows this rapid return to the starting position by the use of a special servo drum and a suitable manipulator.
The attached diagrammatic drawing, to which reference is made in the description which follows, shows, by way of example, a control device arranged according to the invention and intended to actuate a vacuum control switch not shown.
On this drawing ;
M designates a manipulator
T a slave drum
CP a progress contactor
CR a regression contactor SM a servo motor
C a signaling switch
D a circuit breaker
LV low voltage network
HT the high voltage network.
The connections between these members and with other members mentioned below are made as shown in the drawing.
The joystick m of the manipulator M is fitted with a sliding friction device on a segment connected to the low voltage LV network.
The device which is assumed to be in the starting position I, works as follows:
When you want to go from this position to position II, all you have to do is move the lever m from position 1 to position 2 of the manipulator M. This maneuver has the effect of energizing the wire 2-2 which, by means of the key t1 of the servo drum T and a circuit P, energizes the progress contactor CP. On closing, this contactor opens contacts C2, C3 and C4 and closes contacts C1, C5 and C6.
Opening contacts C2 prevents the OR regression contact from being engaged (locking contacts). The open
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Contacting C3 cuts off the power supply to a low voltage coil EU, normally supplied by the voltage transformer TF connected to the high voltage HV network.
De-energization of the BM coil triggers the trip of the circuit breaker D, which closes its auxiliary contacts C7, C8 and C9.
The closing of contacts 0. and C9 of circuit breaker D, in combination with the closing of contacts C5 and C6 of progress contact CP, produces power to the servomotor SM by the LV network.
, The servomotor SM, by means of an RV worm gear reducer, drives locking contacts V1 and V2 as well as a lever 1, actuating a Maltese cross using a button b CM. In the stop position, the Maltese cross CM is locked by lever 1 but when button b engages in a notch of this Maltese cross, the tam .: servo lock T, the control switch signaling C and the adjustment switch, not shown in the drawing, are operated by any suitable means from position I to position II.
In order to avoid in all cases the inadvertent reclosing of the circuit breaker D, during the passage from one position to another, for example by means of the emergency hand crank, the locking contact V1 cuts the coil circuit. BE of the circuit breaker D, a little before the button b engages in a notch of the Maltese cross CM and does not close it until a little after its release.
Locking contact V2 closes when button h engages in a notch on the Maltese cross. Its purpose, in combination with the contacts C1 of the progress contactor CP, is to maintain the excitation of this contactor during the time when the button h is engaged in a notch of the Maltese cross CM, so that any maneuver
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
started is certainly completed. If this V2 contact did not exist, the excitation of the CP contactor would be interrupted before the servo drum: T reaches position II, key t1 cutting off circuit 2- P between positions I and II. When the button leaves the notch of the Maltese cross CM, the switching maneuver is finished.
Opening contact V2 then de-energizes contactor CP. This opens its contacts C1, C5, C6 and closes its contacts C2, C3, and 04. The opening of contacts C5 and C6 cuts the power supply to the servomotor SM; the closing of the C3 contacts produces the excitation of the coil at minimum BM; the closing of the C4 contacts, in combination with the closing of the V1 contact, produces the energization of the closing coil BE and consequently the closing of the circuit breaker D.
During the actual switching maneuver, the signaling switch C has occupied the circuit of a lamp 10 initially lit and closed that of a lamp 20 which lights up at the end of switching. The lamps in the appropriate number are arranged in an arc of a circle on the path of the index of the handle II of the manipulator M in an order corresponding to that of the positions of the manipulator M, they are connected to the LV network by the intermediate the terminals of the signaling switch C, so that, when the servomotor SM has completed the maneuver commanded by the manipulator M, the lamp located in front of the index of the manipulator M lights up,
To switch from position II to position III of the device,
all you have to do is move the joystick M from position 2 to position 3. The maneuver is identical to that described previously. It will be the same for moving to the following positions.
To go from position I to position III, you can
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
also move the joystick m of the manipulator M directly, from position 1 to position 3. Key t1 switches the device from position I to position III without intermediate de-energization of the progress contactor CP and circuit breaker D is therefore tripped and re-energized only once.
To produce the regression, it suffices to move the lever n of the manipulator M back. In this case, the key t2 of the servo drum T connected to a circuit R and the regression contactor CR respectively play the same role as the key t1 and the progress contactor CP played for the progression:
The closing of the OR regression contactor produces @ the rotation of the servomotor SM in the opposite direction to that due to the progress contactor CP.
The command described also makes it possible to pass from the extreme position V, for example, to the initial position I, no longer by turning the lever m. in the direction of regression, but in the direction of progression, the course being generally shorter. For this maneuver, the manipulator M has no stops, which makes it possible to go from position 5 to position 1 of the manipulator M by turning the lever m in the direction of travel without going back through the positions. intermediates 4.3 and 2; in addition, the slaving drum T is provided with a special button t3 such that, after the lever m. has been brought back to position 1 by the progress channel this key t3, supplied by wire 1, puts the progress wire P under tension.
The servomotor SM will therefore rotate in the direction of progression, so that the drum T will pass from position V to position I through position 0 and without passing through intermediate positions IV, III and II.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
By lengthening the t3 key and modifying the t key, it is also possible to move from one or more intermediate positions to the initial position, in the direction of progression.
It is obvious that it is possible, without departing from the scope of the invention, to modify one or the other element of the control provided that its operation remains the same. In particular, it is possible to supply the servomotor SM with direct current or with single or polyphase alternating current, modify the number of positions, modify the diagram by using, for example, a current sending coil instead of a minimum coil. voltage to trigger the circuit breaker, etc ...
