La présente invention se rapporte à une des oaroasses de parapluie raccourcies, à paragons et pièces de manche coulissant télesoopiquement, qui sont décrites et représentées en détails dans différents brevets. La nouveauté de 1+invention consiste en une simplification particulière et en une sécurité de la carcasse par la réunion des mesures ou des dispositifs suivants : les organes extérieurs ou   princi-   paux, reliés par articulation à la couronne de parapluie, des paragons forment une pièce creuse de section transversale elliptique ou ovale qui possède à la partie inférieure une fente de guidage s'étendant longitudinalement.

   A cette forme creuse correspond une section transversale pleine, également elliptique ou ovale et   stadaptant   exactement, des organes intérieurs coulissant dans oelle-oi des paragons, oe qui assure un guidage certain des organes des paragons sans disposition d'anneaux de guidage spéciaux. outre ce

 guidage sûr on empêche en même temps toute course excessive des organes des paragons par la disposition, pour chacun, d'une courte bielle qui est fixée d'une part aux extrémités de tête des paragons près de leur fixation par rotation à la couronne du parapluie et est d'autre part attachée par articulation à un coulant auxiliaire coulissant sur la partie supérieure du manche en-dessous de la couronne. 



   On a prévu, en outre, un dispositif pour faciliter l'ouverture ou la mise sous tension du parapluie, tout à fait indépendant des moyens usuels de mise en position. Ce dispositif consiste en ce que sous chaque   pa-ragon   on a placé une courte branche de ressort fixée à la périphérie de la couronne et qui lorsqu'on dégage la poignée, provoque l'éoartement des paragons en vue de leur libération. 



   L'objet de l'invention est représenté au dessin. 



   La fig. 1 montre la carcasse de parapluie à l'état tendu et détendu. 



   Les fig. 2 et 3 montrent en vue de dessus et en coupe transversale l'organe extérieur et l'organe intérieur d'un paragon. La couronne 1 fixée à la partie supérieure s du manche reçoit d'une manière connue dans des entailles radiales les paragons qui sont formés des organes extérieurs a et des organes intérieurs b. La section transversale des organes extérieurs forme un corps creux elliptique ou ovale, comportant à la partie inférieure une fente de guidage entaillée ou laissée libre, tandis que la section transversale des organes intérieurs représente un corps plein elliptique approprié à la forme creuse de ltorgane extérieur.

   Les extrémités de tête des organes intérieurs sont reliées chaque fois, au moyen d'un sabot de guidage c1 embrassant l'organe extérieur, à l'une des extrémités d'un   poussard   glissant, lors de l'ouverture et de la fermeture, dans la fente de

 guidage de l'organe extérieur, tandis que l'autre extrémité du   poussard   est articulée au coulant principal h. En outre chaque organa extérieur a des paragons est relié non loin de son extrémité de tête, en d, par une courte bielle e au coulant auxiliaire f coulissant sur la partie supérieure s du manohe coulant dont le jeu est limité vers le haut par une saillie tubulaire appropriée ou une pièce analogue sous la oouronne du parapluie.

   Sur la couronne même on a disposé en outre sous chaque paragon de courtes branches de ressort k pour écarter les paragons lors du dégagement de la poignée. Les parties du manche possèdent en outre les moyens d'arrêt u-   suels   pour leur mise en position et pour celle des coulants. 



   Le fonctionnement est essentiellement celui connu : Par des mouvements appropriés du coulant prinoipal et des pièces du manche, les paragons sont tendus et détendus ou retirés l'un de l'autre et rassemblés. Par suite de la section donnée présentement aux organes des paragons en combinaison aveo la liaison par bielles déorite évitant les grandes longueurs de levier, on voit toutefois que l'on ne produit pas seulement un guidage sûr dans chaque cas des organes de paragon avec mise en position correcte de ceux-ci mais qu'on évite encore un retournement en cas de tempête.

   On a en tout cas ici une simplification considérable de la   construc-   tion de la carcasse par suppression de barres auxiliaires particulières et de pièces de guidage, simplification qui a pour effet de son côté une diminution du prix de revient et une économie de poids relativement importante. ' La suppression des liaisons à double articulation a pour effet une ouverture et une fermeture plus aisées et plus sûres du système de pàragons vu qu'on élimine les points de liaison qui, autrement,.sont facilement la cause du coincement des biellettes.

The present invention relates to one of the shortened umbrella oaroasses, with paragons and telesoopically sliding handle parts, which are described and shown in detail in various patents. The novelty of the invention consists in a particular simplification and in a safety of the carcass by the combination of the following measures or devices: the external or main organs, connected by articulation to the umbrella crown, paragons form a part hollow of elliptical or oval cross section which has at the bottom a guide slot extending longitudinally.

   A device has also been provided to facilitate the opening or the tensioning of the umbrella, quite independent of the usual means of positioning. This device consists in that under each pa-ragon is placed a short spring branch fixed to the periphery of the crown and which, when the handle is released, causes the spacing of the paragons for their release.



   The object of the invention is shown in the drawing.



   Fig. 1 shows the umbrella carcass in a taut and relaxed state.



   Figs. 2 and 3 show in top view and in cross section the outer member and the inner member of a paragon. The crown 1 fixed to the upper part s of the handle receives in a known manner in radial notches the paragons which are formed of the outer members a and the inner members b.
