La présente invention est relative aux repose-pieds pour motocyclettes ou autres véhicules analogues et consis- tant en un bras mobile pivoté sur une partie fixe du éhicule et qui peut être amené soit dans une position horizontale pour servir d'appui aux pieds du passager soit dans une .position verticale lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.
L'invention est spécialement relative à la construction du bras mobile susdit et elle a pour but de réaliser celui- ci par une construction très simple comportant un minimum de pièces d'un assemblage très. aisé.
A cet effet , le bras mobile est constitué par un axe terminé à l'une de ses extrémités par une chape supportant 'l'axe de pivotement du bras et sur lequel sont enfilés un bloc en matière élastique et les deux joues latérales protégeant les extrémités de bout du dit bloc ; les dites joues latérales sont d'autre part solidaires d'une plaque s'étendant sous le bloc en matière élastique susdit . @
Afin d'éviter la rotation autour de l'axe susdit du

bloc et de la plaque qui le protège, la partie de l'axe traversant la ou les joues latérales susdites présente une section transversale s'opposant au déplacement angu- laire relatif du dit axe .
@ D'autre part , suivant l'invention , ce dernier est creux du côté de la chape terminant l'une de ses extré mi- tés , le dit creux recevant le ressort d'une butée agissant sur un support du bras mobile en vue de le main- tenir dans l'une ou l'autre de ces deux positions .

Le bras mobile comporte essentiellement un axe 1 dont l'une des extrémités est pourvue d'une chape 2 supportant les extrémités d'un axe 3 autour duquel le bras mobile peut pivoter de façon à occuper soit une position horizontale en vue de servir d'appui au pied du passager soit une position verticale ; le dit axe 3 traverse d'autre part une patte 4 d'une pièce 5 qui pourra etre fixée par des moyens appropriés au cadre de la moto ou du véhicule .
Sur l'axe 1 se trouvent enfilés un bloc en matière élastique 6 et les deux joues latérales 7 protégeant les extrémités du bout du dit bloc ; les dites joues laté- rales sont solidaires d'un.e plaque 8 protégeant et sup- portant le bloc 6 à sa partie inférieure

Afin d'éviter la rotation des joues latérales 7 par rapport à l'axe 2 celui-ci est pourvu à son extrémité libre de méplats 9 qui pénètrent dans l'ouverture de section rectangulaire 10 de là joue 7 correspondante ;
la dite extrémité libre de l'axe l'est filetée et .reçoit un écrou 11 au moyen duquel le bloc 6 pourra être serré énergiquement entre les deux joues latérales 7'
L'extrémité de l'axe 1 située du coté de la chape 2 est creuse de façon à recevoir le ressort 12 d'une butée 13 qui par sa pénétration dans l'un ou l'autre des trous 14 de la patte 4 maintiendra le bras mobile dans chacune de ses deux positions .
Il va de soi qu'il pourrait être fait usage d'une butée à ressort de forme différente et que le bloc 6 ainsi que les joues 7 pourraient recevoir des formes différentes de celles qui sont représentées .
