La présente invention est relative à une boite comprenant un corps fermé ä une extrémité et muni d'un couvercle circulaire amovible à son autre extrémité, cette dernière étant coiffée d'une piece annulaire qui en est solidaire et qui présente, vers l'intérieur du corps de la boite, une partie qui s'écarte de la surface interne dudit corps et présente une extrémiste interieure. roulée de forme sensiblement torique. 



   On connalt par le document BE-A-885539 une boite du type décrit dans le paragraphe précédent. Dans cette boite connue, l'étanchéité entre le couvercle et le corps de la boîte est principalement assuree par une surface de contact limitée ä une ligne de contact dans laquelle les efforts de serrage sont essentiellement radiaux. 



   La présente invention a pour objet une boîte dont le couvercle a une forme telle qu'il s'applique par une grande surface sur la partie torique de la surface annulaire, de manière   ä   assurer un meilleur ancrage du couvercle sur la boite. 



   L'invention a également pour, objet une boite dont le couvercle, realise de preference en matière plastique, présente une forme telle qu'il s'adapte

 fermement sur la boite en fermant celle-ci de manière étanche, sans risque d'enlèvement accidentel de ce couvercle. 



   La boite du type decrit dans le premier paragraphe du present memoire est essentiellement caractérisée en ce que son couvercle presente, juste sous son bord périphérique, une cavité annulaire à fond arrondi, dirigée vers son axe et destinée à servir de logement ä la partie torique roulée de la piece annulaire précitée. 



   Selon une particularité de l'invention, la cavité annulaire susdite a des dimensions telles que la partie torique roulée de la pièce annulaire épouse le fond arrondi de cette cavité sur plus de   1200,   lorsque le couvercle obture la. boite. 



   Dans une forme de réalisation du couvercle de la boite suivant l'invention, ce couvercle présente au voisinage de son bord périphérique, une rainure circulaire ouverte vers l'exterieur de la boite lorsque ce couvercle obture celle-ci, la rainure circulaire susdite, dont la profondeur est telle que son fond se trouve   ä   un niveau   inferieur   ä celui de la cavité annulaire, étant, de préférence, évasée vers l'extérieur de la boite.

   Ces figures représentent une boite   1,   de préférence cylindrique, fermée   ä   une extrémité 2 par un fond 3 serti de façon connue au corps 4 de la boîte 1. 



   Ce corps cylindrique 4 est muni ä son autre extrémité 5 d'une pièce annulaire 7 apte à recevoir un couvercle circulaire amovible 6. Cette piece annulaire 7 comporte une partie   exterieure   8 qui est sertie sur la sufacc externe 9 du corps 4 et une partie intérieure qui s'écarte de la surface interne 11 du corps 4 et qui présente une extrémité intérieure 12 roulée vers l'intérieur et vers le haut de forme sensiblement torique.    Le couvercle circulaire amovible 6 presente juste sous son bord peripherique 14 une cavité annulaire 15   ä   fond arrondi dirigée vers son axe 16 et destinée à servir de logement   ä   la partie torique roulée 12 de la piece annulaire 7. 



   Cette cavité 15 a des dimensions telles que la partie torique roulée 12 de la piece annulaire 7 épouse

   Le couvercle 6 presente avantageusement au voisinage de son bord périphérique 14 une rainure circulaire 20 ouverte vers   l'exterieur   de la boite 1, lorsque ce couvercle 6 obture celle ci. Cette rainure circulaire 20 est évasée vers l'exterieur de la    boite-1   et   s'etend   jusqu'à un niveau    21- inférieur Åa   celui 22 de la cavité annulaire 15. 



   Cette rainure 20 a, en partant du bord peripherique 14 vers   l'axe   16, une paroi 23 inclinée par rapport à l'axe 16 et dirigée vers l'intérieur de la boîte 1, cette paroi 23 s'etendant jusqu'a un niveau 24 voisin du niveau du centre 25 de la partie roulée 12, une paroi 26 parallèle   ä   l'axe 16 qui se termine par une partie 27 sensiblement semi-circulaire, dont le fond 28 est situe   ä   un niveau 21 inferieur au niveau 22 de la cavité 15, et enfin une paroi 29 inclinée par rapport ä   l'axe   16 et dirigée vers le bas vers l'extérieur de la boite 1. 



   Le couvercle 6   presente   egalement de façon avantageuse une gorge circulaire 30 ouverte vers l'intérieur de la boite   1,   cette gorge 30 étant

 adjacente ä la rainure précitée 20 et étant plus proche de l'axe 16 que ne l'est cette rainure 20. 



   Cette gorge 30 présente, en partant du côté le plus proche de l'axe 16 vers le bord périphérique 14 du couvercle, une paroi 31 sensiblement parallele à l'axe 16 qui se termine par une partie sensiblement semicirculaire 32, et enfin une paroi 33 inclinée par

 rapport ä l'axe 16 et évasée vers l'intérieur de la boite 1. 



   Le couvercle 6 est également muni d'une cuvette centrale 34 dont le fond 35 est situé ä un niveau 36 voisin du niveau 25 du centre de la partie roulée 12, lorsque ce couvercle 6 obture la boite 1. 



   La rainure 20 et la gorge 30, adjacente l'une à l'autre, procurent une certaine   élasticité   au bord du couvercle 6, de manière ä permettre une fermeture aisée de la boite,   c'est-à-dire   une introduction aisée de la partie roulee 12 solidaire du corps 4 de la boite 1 dans la cavité circulaire 15 du couvercle 6. Cette élasticité permet également, lorsque le couvercle 6 obture la boite   1,   l'application de forces radiales de contact entre le couvercle 6 et la partie roulée 12 et améliore ainsi 1'étanchéité de la fermeture de la boite 1.    La jupe 37 constitue un chanfrein d'un pli annulaire 38 qui   presente   une paroi interne tronconique 33 dont la partie   évasée   est dirigée vers l'intérieur de la boite   1,   cette paroi 33   Etant   de façon avantageuse parallèle   a   la paroi 29 de la rainure 20, et peut être munie sur son bord extrême 39 d'un appendice cylindrique 40 destinée à accroltre l'élasticité du couvercle 6.

   These figures represent a box 1, preferably cylindrical, closed at one end 2 by a bottom 3 crimped in a known manner to the body 4 of the box 1.



   This cylindrical body 4 is provided at its other end 5 with an annular part 7 capable of receiving a removable circular cover 6. This annular part 7 has an external part 8 which is crimped onto the external sufacc 9 of the body 4 and an internal part which deviates from the internal surface 11 of the body 4 and which has an internal end 12 rolled inwards and upwards of substantially toroidal shape. Between its outer part 8 and its rolled end 12, the annular part 7 presents a skirt 13 which is parallel to the internal surface 11 of the body 4. in the vicinity of its external part 8, and is perpendicular to this internal surface 11 of the body 4 near the rolled end 12.



   The removable circular cover 6 has just under its peripheral edge 14 an annular cavity 15 with a rounded bottom directed towards its axis 16 and intended to serve as a housing for the rolled toric part 12 of the annular piece 7.



   This cavity 15 has dimensions such that the rolled toric part 12 of the annular piece 7 marries

 the bottom 17 of this cavity 15 over more than 1200, preferably 1350, when the cover 6 closes the box 1. Thus, a large contact surface 18 exists between this cover 6 and the rolled O-ring part 12, so as to create a good sealing and / or closing of the box 1.



   The cover 6 has along its peripheral edge 14 a flange 19 directed towards the internal surface 11 of the body 4, this flange 19 overhanging the rolled O-ring part 12, when the cover 6, in the service position, closes the box l.



   The cover 6 advantageously has in the vicinity of its peripheral edge 14 a circular groove 20 open towards the outside of the box 1, when this cover 6 closes the latter. This circular groove 20 is flared towards the outside of the box-1 and extends up to a level 21- lower than that 22 of the annular cavity 15.



   This groove 20 has, starting from the peripheral edge 14 towards the axis 16, a wall 23 inclined with respect to the axis 16 and directed towards the inside of the box 1, this wall 23 extending up to a level 24 close to the level of the center 25 of the rolled part 12, a wall 26 parallel to the axis 16 which ends in a substantially semi-circular part 27, the bottom 28 of which is situated at a level 21 below the level 22 of the cavity 15, and finally a wall 29 inclined with respect to the axis 16 and directed downwards towards the outside of the box 1.



   The cover 6 also advantageously has a circular groove 30 open towards the inside of the box 1, this groove 30 being

 adjacent to the above-mentioned groove 20 and being closer to the axis 16 than this groove 20 is.



   This groove 30 has, starting from the side closest to the axis 16 towards the peripheral edge 14 of the cover, a wall 31 substantially parallel to the axis 16 which ends in a substantially semicircular part 32, and finally a wall 33 tilted by

   The cover 6 is also provided with a central bowl 34, the bottom 35 of which is situated at a level 36 close to the level 25 of the center of the rolled part 12, when this cover 6 closes the box 1.



   The groove 20 and the groove 30, adjacent to each other, provide a certain elasticity at the edge of the cover 6, so as to allow easy closure of the box, that is to say an easy introduction of the rolled part 12 secured to the body 4 of the box 1 in the circular cavity 15 of the cover 6. This elasticity also allows, when the cover 6 closes the box 1, the application of radial contact forces between the cover 6 and the rolled part 12 and thus improves the tightness of the closure of the box 1. These radial contact forces are further increased, thanks to the elasticity of the cover 6 due to the groove 20 and to the groove 30, when the box 1 is inverted.

   In a preferred embodiment of the box 1 according to the invention, the cover 6 has a frustoconical skirt 37, the small base of which is directed towards the inside of the box 1, this skirt 37 extending from the end of the cavity 15 furthest from the edge of the cover 6 and being parallel to the wall 23 of the groove 20.



   The skirt 37 constitutes a chamfer of an annular fold 38 which presents a frustoconical internal wall 33 whose flared part is directed towards the interior of the box 1, this wall 33 being advantageously parallel to the wall 29 of the groove 20 , and can be provided on its extreme edge 39 with a cylindrical appendage 40 intended to increase the elasticity of the cover 6.



   In this preferred embodiment, the covers 6 can be fitted one above the other, since the skirt 37 and the circular groove 20 have dimensions allowing the introduction (in broken lines in FIG. 2) of the skirt 37 of a cover in the circular groove of another cover. This allows easy storage of the covers 6 of the boxes 1 according to the invention. (see figure 2).
