Abstract

1. Device for feeding coal into a combustion chamber (11) under elevated pressure in which a mill (5) is provided with one feed line for raw coal and one for carrier gas each and in the feed line for raw coal two intermediate bunkers (12, 13) are arranged in series directly before the inlet of mill (5) in whose inlets (14) one pressure-tight closing shut-off device each is arranged, characterized in that mill (5) is directly connected with the combustion chamber (11) via one or several pulverized fuel lines, that the first intermediate bunker (12) seen in the direction of raw coal flow is provided with a vent line (18) capable of being shut off and that the shut-off devices are designed as pressure-tight closing gate valves (16, 17) before which - seen in the direction of coal flow - one intermediate conveyor each (21, 6) is arranged.
