Description

1/8 A MAINTENANCE VEHICLE. [0001] The invention relates to a maintenance vehicle according to the introductory part of claim 1. [0002] A maintenance vehicle having a work space open towards the track is known from DE 20 2004 013 732 Ul. In the roof region, the work space comprises a longitudinal beam, formed by a recessed vehicle frame and arranged centrally with regard to the transverse direction of the track, at the underside of which a rail extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is fastened. Heavy lifting- and working devices are mounted by means of a suspension hook on said rail for displacement in the longitudinal direction of the track. 1.0003] On a further track working vehicle, disclosed in DE 92 06 335 U1, a jib of articulated design is mounted in the region of a bridge-shaped wagon box, with the aid of which it is possible to freely position a tool, arranged on the jib, in the work area. [0004] It is the object of the present invention to create a maintenance vehicle of the kind mentioned at the beginning with which the deployment of track treatment machines is facilitated. [0005] According to the invention, this object is achieved with a maintenance vehicle of the specified type by means of the features cited in the characterizing part of claim 1.
di 0 [C006] With a machine support configured in this way, it is possible to operate even heavy track treatment machines in a simplified manner without requiring the operator to expend energy, while the work space offering optimum safety can be used unrestrictedly. Due to the transversely displaceable fixing device, an automatic centering of the machine above a rail is assured. As a further advantage, there is the possibility of supplying the machine fastened to the machine support with energy via the maintenance vehicle. This provides significantly improved working conditions within the work space with regard to noise and exhaust emissions. [0007] Additional advantages of the invention become apparent from the dependent claims and the description of the drawing. 1.0008] The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to an embodiment represented in the drawing in which 0009] Fig. 1 shows a schematic side view of a maintenance vehicle equipped, according to the invention, with a machine support, and [0010] Figs. 2 and 3 each show an enlarged view - transversely to the longitudinal direction of the track and parallel thereto, respectively - of the machine support. [0011] A maintenance vehicle 1, visible in Fig. 1, is mobile by means of on track undercarriages 2 on a track 3 - formed of rails 7 and sleepers 8 and may be connected for that purpose to a traction vehicle 4. The maintenance vehicle 1 consists of two frame beams 5 which extend in the longitudinal direction 21 of the track or vehicle and are spaced from one another in the transverse direction. By means of said two frame beams 5 supported at the ends on the on-track undercarriages 2, a work space 6 is delimited laterally which is open at the bottom toward the track 3 and offers shelter for working personnel busy in the track. [0012] As further shown in more detail now also in Figs. 2 and 3, the maintenance vehicle 1 is equipped with a machine support 9 serving for detachable fixation of a track treatment machine 10 (for example, in the shape of a screwing unit or the like, as indicated in Fig. 3 in dash-and dot lines). The machine support 9 consists essentially of a first carrier 11 which is connected to a second carrier 12 for pivoting about an axis 13 extending in the longitudinal direction 21 of the vehicle. The second carrier 12, in turn, is vertically displaceably mounted in a vertical guide 24 and connected to a drive 25 for vertical adjustment. [0013] The vertical guide 24 is fastened to the frame beam 5 and designed for displacement relative to the same in the longitudinal direction 21 of the vehicle by means of a drive 14. To that end, two track rollers 15 are provided at the upper end of the vertical guide 24 which are supported in a guide rail 16 mounted on the frame beam 5 and are actuatable or rotatable by means of the drive 14. Two support rollers 17, provided at the lower end of the vertical guide 24 and rolling on the frame beam 5, 4/8 serve to stabilise the machine support 9 in the transverse direction of the track. [0014] For detachably fastening the track treatment machine 10, the first carrier 11 comprises a fixing device 18 which is displaceably supported in a transverse guide 19 of the first carrier 11. When the first carrier 11 is in its working position 20, shown in Fig. 3, the fixing device 18 (and, along with this, the track treatment machine 10 mounted thereon) is displaceable on the first carrier 11 transversely to the longitudinal direction 21 of the vehicle. Additionally, the fixing device 18 is connected to a guide roller 22, provided for placement on the rail 7 of the track 3 and designed as a double-flanged roller, which is displaceable together with the fixing device 18 - along the transverse guide 19 by means of a drive 23. During working operations of the track treatment machine 10, the drive 23 is in the swimming position to enable the guide roller 22 to follow the course of the rail 7 without difficulty. The drive 23 is activated only when the machine support 9 is to be set on the track 3, for instance at the beginning of a switch, and transverse displacement is required for that purpose. [0015] The machine support 9 further comprises a coupling 26 (Fig. 3) which in case the track treatment machine 10 is not self-sufficient regarding energy supply - is provided for connection of a line 27 supplying energy to the track treatment machine 10.
0IO [0016] A control device 28 fixable to the track treatment machine 10 enables activation of the drives 14, 23 and 25, by means of which the machine support 9 is longitudinally, transversely and vertically adjustable relative to the frame beam 5. Thus, an operator is able during working operations to set even a relatively heavy track treatment machine 10 down in the track 3 without difficulty and in an ergonomically optimal manner without expenditure of energy. In particular, it is thus possible, for example at the beginning of a switch, to on-track the working unit on the branch rail 7 quickly and securely. [0)017] An additional drive 29 is provided for pivoting the machine support 9 or the first carrier 11 from the working position 20 - extending horizontally or parallel to a track plane 30 - into an inoperative position 31 extending approximately parallel to the second carrier 12. In this position, the first carrier 11 can be fixed by means of a locking device 32 (see Fig. 3).
