Es ht sieh bei weiteren, eingehenden Versuchen gezeigt, dass man zur Gewinnung von Tropinonmonocarbonsäureestern nicht von reinen Acetondicarbonestersäuren auszugehen braucht, sondern dass mit Vorteil auch rohe Estersäuren verwendet werden können, welche durch teilweise Veresterung der Acetondicarbonsäuren entstehen.
Beispiel : 1 Teil Acetondicarbonsäure (dargestellt nach von Pechmann, Ann. 261 [1891], S. 165) roh, noch sehwefelsäurehaltig, wird mit 10 Teilen Weingeist, der 3% Salzsäure enthält, durch schwaches
