Vorrichtung zur Signalisierung niedrigen Wasserstandes in Dampfkesseln.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung, um bei eintretendem niedrigen Wasserstande in Dampfkessel ein Signal zu geben. Sie hat einen in Verbindung mit dem Wasserraum des Kessels stehenden Raum, welcher für gewöhnlich mit stillstehendem Wasser gefüllt ist, und die Erfindung besteht darin, dass in dem mit dem Wasserraum des Kessels verbundenen Gehäuse, welches bei eintretendem niedrigen Wasserstande in bekannter Weise mit heissem Dampf gefüllt wird, eine bimetallisch Feder untergebracht ist, die eine Ventilschraube trägt oder in anderer Weise durch ihre Formänderung ein Ventil oder dgl. beeinflussen kann, wodurch ein Kanal geöffnet wird, durch welchen der Dampf bei eintretendem niedrigen Wasserstande aus dem Inneren des Gehäuses nach einer Dampfpfeife oder einem Kontaktmanometer oder zwei solchen Organen heranströmen kann.
Eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt den Apparat, welcher sowohl eine Pfeife als ein Kontaktmanometer hat, in seiner Gesamtanordnung, während Fig. 2 einen senkrechten Schnitt durch den Apparat zeigt.

The invention relates to a device for giving a signal when the water level in the steam boiler is low. It has a space in connection with the water space of the boiler, which is usually filled with still water, and the invention consists in that in the housing connected to the water space of the boiler, which in a known manner with hot steam when the water level enters is filled, a bimetallic spring is housed, which carries a valve screw or can otherwise influence a valve or the like by changing its shape, whereby a channel is opened through which the steam when low water level enters from the interior of the housing after a steam whistle or a contact manometer or two such organs.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the apparatus, which has both a whistle and a contact manometer, in its overall arrangement, while Fig. 2 shows a vertical section through the apparatus.
