Der Erfindungsgegenstand hat den Zweck, Eierkocher ähnlicher Art mit einer Kaltwasserleitung so in Verbindung zu bringen, dass diese beim Ablöschen der Flamme sich öffnet und das Kochwasser durch das einströmende Kaltwasser abkühlt, um eine weitere Erwärmung der Eier hintanzuhalten. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass über dem Kochgefäss ein Kaltwasserbehälter angebracht ist, dessen Absehlussorgan nach Ablauf der durch eine Uhr bestimmten Kochzeit gleichzeitig m) t dem Ablöschen der Heizflamme geöffnet wird.
Der Kocher besteht aus einem Galgen a, an dessen über Rollen b geführter Schnur c das Kochgefäss d über einer Spiritusflamme e hängt.
