Electric light bulb.
The invention relates mainly to improvements in the fitting of incandescent lamps. The improvements relate, in particular, to relieving the lamp jacket by relocating the lamp fitting and in particular also the weight to a special bracket which is connected to the lamp bracket
EMI1.1
Can get inside the lamp housing.
In the drawing, the lamp is shown in an exemplary embodiment in a partial longitudinal section.
The lamp consists of the lamp jacket a, on which the

wear on which the winding roller e is provided.
In the known lamps, a weighting weight is arranged, which has the purpose of weighting the lamp in order to protect it mainly from swaying caused by gusts of wind. This weight was previously housed in the lamp jacket, which unnecessarily stressed the lamp jacket and was easily exposed to damage.
According to the invention, a second bracket f is hinged to the bracket d by means of rivets or bolts g, which has the shape shown in the drawing and in which the entire lamp fitting and the weight h is mounted. As a result, the lamp jacket is not stressed as in the previous versions.
When using incandescent lamps in companies where there is a large amount of smoke or dust

come that the coal dust and the like entering the lamp housing.
Short circuit has occurred. In order to prevent this, according to the invention, the lamp jacket a is open at the top and covered with a protective cap i. At its upper end, the lamp jacket has openings k in order to establish a connection with the interior of the lamp. On the bracket f or another suitable place in the upper part of the lamp, a cap m is arranged, the upper surface of which is made of a close-meshed wire mesh or mesh. This cap lies in a circular channel 1, which allows an unimpeded exchange of air, but prevents coal particles, dust and the like from entering the interior of the lamp. It is advantageous to make the upper part of the cap w removable.
Since, as mentioned, the cap t, the circular channel l and the cap m can be easily removed, this creates access to the interior of the lamp without it being necessary to

Another innovation in the lamp is that the chain r, which is intended to limit the movement of the lamp bell in relation to the lamp jacket, is not outside the lamp jacket as in the previous versions, but rather that it lies between the lamp

prevented by the chain; In addition, the chain is not exposed to atmospheric influences.
