Process for the production of a paint composition.
The present invention relates to a method for the production of a paint which is particularly suitable for ships and iron bridges and wherever the paint is heavily washed by water or exposed to light acids. In particular, the paint is not attacked by salt or sea water, which avoids the build-up of sand, algae or the like and therefore eliminates the need to knock off this approach, which is often very burdensome for the ship.
The process consists of first dissolving 150 parts by weight of pure American rosin in approximately 10 parts by weight of 900 loigen benzene and mixing this lacquer with a solution of approximately 1 part by weight of rubber in 100 parts by weight of its own benzene. that the same weight quantum (approx. 100 parts by weight) is taken from each of the two solutions. To this mixture are then added: about 15 parts by weight of Lithopon, 5 parts by weight of zinc white and 3 parts by weight of hemp oil and finally 2 to 2'5 parts by weight per 100 parts of the total weight of the paint in which the color of the paint is kept 8011.
In addition to the advantages already mentioned, the paint composition obtained in this way also has the excellent property of drying very quickly, avoiding the formation of bubbles and resisting any heat. To resist heat.
