Einrichtung an Formmaschinen zum Verdichten des Sandes im Formkasten.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung an Formmaschinen zum Verdichten des Sandes im Formkasten, welche es ermöglicht, das Verdichten des Sandes durch mehrere aufeinanderfolgende Drücke zu bewerkstelligen und daher auch in grösseren Formkästen eine genügende Verdichtung des Formsandes mittels einfacher Handpresse zu erzielen.
Es ist zu diesem Zweck vorgeschlagen worden, einen mehrteiligen Presskörper zu benutzen, dessen einzelne Teile in jeweilig verschiedener Tiefeneinstellung in den Sand eingedrückt werden.
Demgegenüber besteht die Erfindung darin, dass die Platte lose auf den im Formkasten zu verdichtenden Sand aufgelegt wird und dass die einzelnen Teile unabhängig voneinander in beliebiger Reihenfolge und in beliebigem Masse In den Sand eingedrückt werden und bis zur Vollendung des Verdichtens des Formsandes ständig auf diesem liegen bleiben. Dadurch wird auch ein Lockern der bereits verdichteten Partien des Formsandes während des verdichtens anderer Partien verhindert.
Die Erfindung besteht weiters darin, dass auf dem tu bekannter Weise ausfahrbaren oder ausschweukbaren Pressholm der Formmaschine em oder mehrere Querbalken verschiebbar angebracht sind. die vor jedem Presshub einer anderen Partie des Formsandes gegenübergestellt werden können und d) e vorteilhaft zum Kindrücken der einzelnen Teile
