Shaft closure for drivetrains or elevators.
The subject matter of the invention belongs to the type of endless shaft closures in which the protective device consists of a protective grille, protective tape or the like, which extends from the roof of the cabin or the basket on the side facing the corridors via rollers, wheels or the like. on the ceiling of the shaft, but run within it, and from there. return down the rear of the shaft via rollers, wheels or the like arranged on the bottom of the shaft to the underside of the basket or the cabin.

The drawing shows examples of embodiments of the invention.

The parts il and d2 of the protective device leave an opening d4 of sufficient width between them free so that the cables c freely between the parts d1 and d2 on the ceiling of the

is. In order to protect the parts of the protective device i {l and d2 against sagging or being pushed inwards into the shaft, T-shaped slots or guides g are attached to the edge of each hall platform bl. Projecting pieces or pulleys h are then attached to the ropes, chains or the like. D8, which pass through the slots g when the elevator moves up and down.
The rollers h are so far apart that, when the elevator stops in front of any corridor, they are in engagement with the corresponding slots g and thus prevent the protective device from being pushed in from the outside and any significant sagging of the parts of the protective device.
In certain cases it may be desirable to use chains d3 and chain pulleys k. Such an arrangement is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. In this case, the braid is also the

substantially coincides.
In FIGS. 5 and 6 it is then shown how the opposite edges l1 of the parts l of the protective device are arranged in order to completely release the cables c. The discs ml, which carry the adjacent edges of the parts of the protective device, are placed on the shafts m. so that, as can be seen from Fig. 6, the space between the meeting edges 11 on the ceiling is widened so that the lifting ropes c can pass through it.
In order to make this expansion of the space between the parts possible, the supports between the edge parts or chains ss act like a spring. For this purpose, each of them consists, as shown in the drawing, of a tube 12 in which a spring 14 is located. From each side of the tube 12, a spindle P is now inserted into this, one end of which rests against the spring 14, while the other end is attached to the chains ss.
This arrangement allows the necessary play.
As a result of the protective device described, it is impossible for anyone to fall into the chimney from any hallway.
