Verfahren zur Herstellung eines als Desinfektionsmittel geeigneten   Phenoloxalsäureesters,   dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man wasserfreie Oxalsäure mit verflüssigtem Phenol im Verhältnis von 1 Molekül Oxalsäure zu 2 Molekülen Phenol innig mischt und die Veresterung lediglich durch innige Mischung unter der Einwirkung der Selbsterwärmung bewerkstelligt.
