  Verfahren zur Darstellung von haltbaren, für dauernde Küpenführung geeigneten Präparaten aus   Indigoleukofarbsto1fen   und Melasse, Sirup, Glyzerin und anderen nicht eintrocknenden Substanzen. 



   Nach dem Verfahren der Patentschrift Nr. 52024 erhält man haltbare, für dauernde   Küpenführung   geeignete Präparate aus Indigoleukofarbstoffen, wenn man die letzteren mit Melasse, Sirup, Glyzerin oder anderen nicht eintrocknenden Substanzen und anorganischen Reduktionsmitteln mischt. 



   Es wurde nun gefunden, dass diese Präparate auch unter Zusatz von Alkali oder alkalisch wirkenden Substanzen hergestellt werden können, ohne dass die Haltbarkeit beeinträchtigt wird. Der alkalische Zusatz verleiht den Präparaten eine geschmeidige, sirupöse Konsistenz, wodurch deren Verwendung in der Färberei erleichtert wird. Wie sich Überraschenderweise gezeigt hat, genügen   hiefür   häufig schon ganz geringe Mengen von Alkalien, welche bei weitem nicht zur Überführung der Indigoleukofarbstoffe in die Salze ausreichen.

   According to the process of patent specification no. 52024, durable preparations made of indigoleuco dyes suitable for long-term vat management are obtained if the latter is mixed with molasses, syrup, glycerine or other non-drying substances and inorganic reducing agents.



   It has now been found that these preparations can also be produced with the addition of alkali or alkaline substances without impairing the shelf life. The alkaline additive gives the preparations a smooth, syrupy consistency, which makes them easier to use in dyeing. As has surprisingly been shown, very small amounts of alkalis are often sufficient for this purpose, and these are by no means sufficient to convert the indigoleuco dyes into the salts.
