Verfahren zur Herstellung haltbarer, fester, mit Wasser Wasserstofsuperoxyd entwickelnder Perborat-Mischungen aus Natriumperborat und einem festen sauren Salz.
Die Wirksamkeit des Natriumperborats in wässeriger Lösung als Desinfektionsmittel beruht auf seiner Dissoziierbarkeit in Wasserstoffsuperoxyd und borsaures Salz. Da das Natrmmperhorat schwer löslich und nur teilweise dissoziiert ist, so tritt die volle Wirkung desselben erst dann ein, wenn man durch Zusatz verdünnter Säuren aus dem Szle das Wasserstoffsuperoxyd freimacht. Man hat diese Dissoziation erreicht durch Zusatz von Phosphorsäure oder von sauren Salzen zu den wässerigen Lösungen von Natriumperborat. Dagegen war es

Doch zeigt auch diese Mischung insofern noch einen Nachteil, als das entwässerte Natriumperborat naturgemäss bestrebt ist, sich wiederum mit Wasser zu sättigen und so in die zersetzliche Mischung überzugehen : die Salzmischung ist nach Angabe hygroskopisch und muss daher vorsichtig aufbewahrt werden.
