EMI1.1
The present invention relates to those devices for the automatic filling of dishwashers in which the opening of the inlet valve, closed by the water pressure, takes place through the water container itself in that the latter is suspended so that it can swing about a horizontal axis and the position of the latter is chosen such that when empty In the state of the vessel, a torque occurs which is used to open the line closure and which gradually decreases during filling.
The present invention now consists in that the valve is opened directly through the wall of the flushing water container without the use of intermediate means.
In the drawing, this filling device is shown in vertical section.
As can be seen from these representations, the water vessel a is suspended in a known manner in a housing b provided with the downwardly leading fall pipe r; Above it opens the automatically closing inlet valve M. The horizontal oscillation axis d of the vessel a is chosen in such a way that when the latter is empty there is a torque acting upwards on the left side of the vessel and on this side below the spindle m of the automatic Pressure cock n stop p lying directly on the tank cover pushes the spindle m nal'h upwards and opens the cock n against the pressure of the water (see fully drawn position).
As the water flowing out of the tap n fills the vessel a, its center of gravity is shifted to the left, so that the torque acting on the spindle m becomes weaker and weaker and finally zero when the tumble vessel a has reached its normal filling ( see dotted position al).
A cord or cord engages on the side of the vessel a opposite the tap
Chain hoist k an, by actuating which the vessel a can be tilted into the position a2 shown in dotted lines, the contents of which are emptied into the housing b. and flows down through the fall pipe r.
When the pull is released, the pressure tap n opens again
Torque on, which requires refilling the vessel.
