Tilting device for loading platforms of vehicles
The invention relates to tipping devices for loading platforms of vehicles. It is known to provide such tilting devices with at least one hydraulic drive element which is arranged between two arms each, which with their one ends scissor-like against each other and with the other
Ends connected to the vehicle chassis or, if necessary, indirectly supported on the floor of the loading platform, raising or lowering it.
It is also known to design the hydraulic drive element as a rotary vane motor, which consists of a cylinder with at least one radial partition, on the at least one surface of which feed and discharge lines for pressure fluid open out, and one
Has shaft which is rotatably mounted coaxially in the cylinder, penetrates the end walls of the cylinder with a seal and carries a radial wing which rests sealingly on the inner wall and the end faces of the cylinder.
The aim of the invention is to provide a tilting device of this type with which a large tilting angle can be achieved and the space requirement of which is small so that it can be easily accommodated between the vehicle chassis and the loading platform.
According to the invention, the axis of the rotary vane motor forms the common pivot axis of the arms provided in pairs, one pair at the ends of the shaft and the other pair close to the end faces of the rotary vane motor cylinder. this is attached.
According to a further feature of the invention, the ends of one pair of arms are rotatably mounted on the vehicle chassis and the ends of the other pair of arms on the floor of the loading platform. Finally, a device according to the invention is also characterized in that the ends of one pair of arms are rotatably mounted on the vehicle chassis, whereas for connecting the ends of the second pair of arms on the floor of the loading platform, these ends are fastened to a second rotary vane motor, which the pivot axis for a third Forms a pair of arms, the free ends of which are rotatably mounted on the floor of the loading platform.
Some embodiments of the invention are illustrated as examples in the drawings, in which FIGS. 1 and 2 show schematic elevations, the former partly also showing a section of a vehicle which has a tiltable loading platform and is equipped with a lifting mechanism with two arms which are positioned under the Under the influence of a rotary vane motor, the pivot points of the arms on the vehicle frame are arranged behind the motor in FIG. 1 and in front of the motor in FIG. 2.
Figure 3 is a partial perspective view of the device of Figure 1; Figure 4 is a schematic elevational view of a vehicle having a tilting loading platform and a lifting mechanism consisting of two arms each hinged to the end of a central arm.

an axle 2 is rotatable, which carries a handlebar 3 directed towards the front of the carriage, which is composed of two arms 3a, 3b and has a rotary vane motor V at its end fixed to the cylinder 4. This has an inner radial partition 5 and in its interior a shaft is rotatably mounted, which is sealed against this partition, is provided with a radial wing 7, which is also sealed together with the inner walls and the end walls of the cylinder.

working.
This shaft passes through bearings located on the end faces of the cylinder at its ends and is connected in rotation to each of the arms 8a, 8b, the arms being rotatable in bearings 9 on the chassis 10. The loading platform B, which can be tilted about the axis 12, is located on the chassis 10. The cylinder
4 is also in a known manner to a motor for hydraulic fluid, for. B. by means of lines 13, 14 and a distributor 15 with control valves and to a compressor for liquid 16 connected.
If the loading platform is to be tilted (position shown in dashed lines in the drawing), it is sufficient to manipulate the distributor 15 in such a way that pressure fluid enters the cylinder 4 through the line 13 between the radial partition 5 and the wing 7; this results in a rotation of the shaft 6 with respect to the cylinder 4 and consequently the opening of the pairs of arms 3 and 8, which makes the loading platform tilt
B about axis 12. With the opposite movement of the distributor 15, concluding the
Line 13 and opening of line 14, loading platform B is returned to the horizontal position, since the liquid is pushed back into the compressor under its own weight.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from that just described according to FIG. 1 in that the articulation points 52 and 59 of the lifting arms 53 and 58 are arranged in the front part of the vehicle next to the driver's cab. Compared to the example described above, there is a significant difference in the points of application of the levers, which are formed by the arms 53 and 58, since the points are located
52 and 59 are further away from the tilt axis 62 of the stage 61. The design can be of particular interest if the vehicle is intended for the transport and handling of very heavy loads, because the fluid pressure required to tilt the platform can be much lower than when the points of application of the levers are moved closer to the tilt axis.
According to the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 4, the vehicle contains a chassis C1 which, in its rearward part, has bearing blocks 17 in which the bearing blocks 19, which sit on the loading platform, can be rotated about the axis 18. On the longitudinal members of the chassis Cl bearings 20 are also arranged, in which the arms 21 are mounted, which are fixed on the shaft 27 of a rotary vane motor VI, the cylinder 22 of which sits on one of the ends of an intermediate arm 23, the opposite end of which on the
Cylinder 25 of a second rotary vane motor V2 is rigidly connected, the shaft 26 of which is rigidly connected by means of its ends to the branches of an arm 24 which is hinged to bearing blocks 28 of the loading platform B1.
Each vane motor VI, V2 is built like that according to FIGS. 1-3 and is operated in the same way as this.
If the pressure fluid is allowed to enter through the lines mentioned earlier, it causes, as before, a rotation of the shafts 26, 27, whereby the loading platform is tilted. The opening of the arms 21 and 23 on the one hand and of the arms 23 and 24 on the other hand is brought about by this.
If the distributor is brought into the position for the discharge of the liquid, the dead weight of the loading platform is sufficient for it to assume the horizontal position again.
