Installation on cinematographic recording cameras, in particular on cine film cameras for amateur purposes, which are equipped with lenses of continuously variable focal length
It is known that the operation of cinematographic and television cameras can be made considerably easier by using a single handle to make two different adjustment

standing in the fact that one provides a handle in the form of a lever that, in the direction of the optical
Axis actuated, a displacement of the lens elements of the pancratic lens and thus a change in the image scale ("driving" effect) causes, while an adjustment movement of the lever perpendicular to the direction just mentioned causes the focusing, i. H. Adjustment of the lens to different
Allows shooting distances.
The invention is based on the knowledge that there is in particular
In view of the narrow exposure latitude of the mostly used reversal emulsion, it is primarily important to keep the exposure constant, i. H. to continuously follow all changes in the mean object luminance with the aperture. It is known in photographic still cameras that for this purpose, for example, the exposure meter is coupled to the aperture of the lens in such a way that the aperture is automatically set correctly by adjusting the pointer of the exposure meter to a constant deflection. The task of focusing is of little importance with cine film in view of the shorter focal length of the lenses used for cine film recordings.
According to the invention, it is therefore proposed that cinematographic cameras, in particular cine cameras for amateur purposes, which are equipped with lenses of continuously variable focal length and in which optical lens groups are moved uniformly from a minimum value to a maximum value between two stop positions in the direction of the optical axis for the purpose of changing the focal length To provide a device for one-handed operation, which consists of a movement mechanism, for example a lever, the movement of which in the direction of the optical axis effects the adjustment of the corresponding lens groups, while a second adjustment of the lever, which is substantially different from the first-mentioned movement, adjusts the aperture of the lens causes, so not, as has been usual up to now,
to focus with this movement. The device is expediently made in such a way that the second movement of the lever takes place perpendicular to the first-mentioned movement.
The device according to the invention can be further improved by adding further adjustment possibilities of the lever and by attaching further anchoring elements in the form of handles and grip cams. to adjust the focus of the lens. or to effect the operation of the film run and the shutter mechanism of the film camera without it being necessary to move the hand provided for operating all these devices or even to add the second hand.
The device according to the invention will be explained with reference to the following figures, which schematically show an exemplary embodiment. Of these figures, FIG. 1 shows a section through an objective mount and FIG. 2 shows a section through the iris diaphragm.
